Split Valuation
Split Valuation
Split Valuation
What is Valuation?
In general Valuation is process of determining the fair value of an asset, investment etc.
In SAP system we are going to valuate our materials. The valuation of materials we maintain in
material master
We are going to valuate our materials at Plant level or Company code level, mainly we maintain at
Plant level
Materials can be valuated based on different types of procurement known as Split Valuation
Stock that Procured externally from vendor has a different valuation price than the stock of
in house production
When stock is obtained from two different vendors one vendor is valuated at one price and
another vendor valuated at different price
Same material have different batch may have different valuation price
