1. Introduce of Palm Fruit Brunch

Palm is grow in Southeast Asia, Africa, south pacific, and some tropical area in South America. It originated in
Africa, was be introduced to Southeast Asia in the early 19th century. The wild and half wild palm tree in Africa
called dura, and the by breeding, develop a kind named tenera with high oil yield and thin shell. From the 60s last
century, almost all the Commercialized palm tree is tenera. Palm fruit can be harvested throughout the year.

The Fruit office include palm oil and fiber, and kernel is mainly constituted by High valuable kernel oil, Amylum,
and Nutritional Components. The palm oil is mainly for cooking and Palm kernel oil is mainly for cosmetics.

Part V
Technology Process Specification
The palm oil is contained in palm pulp, the pulp is high moisture content and rich lipase. Usually we adopt the
method of press to produce itand this technology is very mature. Before pressing , Fresh fruit bunch will be taken
into sterilizer and thresher to be pre-treated. After weighting the FFB , it is loaded the FFB conveyor by loading
ramp, then the FFB will be conveyed to the vertical sterilizer. FFB will be sterilized in sterilizer, the FFB will be
heated and sterilized for several times to avoid the lipase being hydrolyzed. After sterilizing, the FFB is distributed
bunch conveyor by the mechanical bunch feeder and enter the thresher machine which separates the palm fruit and
bunch. The empty bunch is conveyed to loading platform and transport it to outside the factory area at fixed period ,
the empty bunch could be used as fertilizer and repeat use ; The palm fruit which has passed sterilizer and thresher
processing should be sent to digester and then go to special screw press to get the crude palm oil (CPO) from the pulp
. But the pressed palm oil contain a lot of water and impurity which need to be clarified by sand trap tank and treated
by the vibrating screen, afterward the CPO will be sent to clarification station treatment section . For the wet fiber
cake which be produced by screw press, after separating nut, it will be sent to boiler house to burnt.

The wet fiber cake contain wet fiber and wet nut, the fiber contain about 6-7% oil and fat and a few of water.
Before we pressing the nut, we should separate the nut and fiber. Firstly, the wet fiber and wet nut enter the cake
breaker conveyor to be cracked, and mostly of the fiber should be separated by pneumatic fiber depericarper system.
The nut, little fiber and big impurity will be further separated by the polishing drum. The separated nut should be sent
to nut hopper through the pneumatic nut transport system, and then adopt the ripple mill to crack the nut, after
cracking , most of the shell and kernel will be separated by cracked mixture separating system, and the rest of
mixture of kernel & shell enter to the special clay bath separating system to separate them. After this processing , we
could get pure kernel(The shell content in kernel <6%),which should be conveyed to the kernel silo to dry. After
dried moisture as 7%, the kernel will be conveyed to kernel storage bin for storage; Usually the dry kernel’s capacity
ratio is 4%. So it should be collected until enough quantity, and then be sent to the palm kernel oil mill; For the

separated shell, it should be conveyed to shell temporary bin as the spare boiler fuel.

After screen and sand trap tank, the palm oil should be sent to crude oil tank and heat , then be pumped
continuous clarification tank to separate the purified oil which be sent to pure oil tank and the sludge oil which be
sent to sludge tank , where after the sludge oil should be pumped to the centrifuge to separate, the separated oil enter
the continuous clarification tank again; The pure oil in the pure oil tank should be sent to the oil purifier , and then
enter the vacuum dryer , at last the dried oil should be pumped collection tank.

2. Sterilizing process:
2.1 By Scraper Conveyor, FFB be transported to the top of sterilizing tank. Falling into sterilizing tank from feed inlet.

Mm 0.3~0.7%, P＜0.045%,

After FFB be transported into sterilizing tank, close the inlet of sterilizing tank, and open the vent valve behind the tank, saturating

steam, which pressure is 3bar and temperature is around 130℃~140℃. After all cool air been discharged out, close vent valve,

proceed to sterilizing section. Sterilizing time is 60~90 minutes. Usually from fruit inlet to output need around 60 minutes.

2.4

The sterilizing time also should be depend on the kind and quality of FFB, if the pressure is too high or the time is too long, palm fruit

will be rot, also Resulting in the loss of oil, high temperature can change palm color.

2.5

Finish sterilizing process, close the steam valve, open the valve lead to Blow-off/down Silencer. Open the sterilizing tank door(FFB

outlet) after discharges out all steam and water.

2.6

Open the sterilizing tank door(outlet), sterilized FFB will fall on the FFB Scraper conveyor. Be transported to next station.

4.1.2 The fruit in digestor will be heated to 90~95℃(by indirectsteam), heating time is10~20 minutes.

4.1.3 The pounded fruit flow into Palm fruit oil presser to press. Oil press cone can control cylinder, working pressure is 50~70bar,

revolving speed of presser main shaft is 12.5 r/min. Meanwhile the mixture of crude palm oil and water outflow from barrel holes.

Crude oil will be flow in Temporary Storage oil tank through crude oil groove. Then oil will be pumped to Screening filter by oil

pump. After filtering remove the oil foam, deposit impurities. Palm oil flow into Passivating oil tank. The fiber cake and nuts are

exhausted from clearance of conehead drop on Breaking cake auger.

4.1.4 Palm fruit oil presser, the material of main shaft is 40Cr steel, (Chemical component: C0.37~0.44%, Si0.17~0.37%,

Mn0.50~0.80%, Cr0.80~1.10%) have been thermal refining, the material of worm and conehead is 45# Cast-Steel, and the surface

have quenching treatment.

Part IX

Buyer and seller's responsibility

1）

Seller’s supply and service:

● Whole set of equipment for production line；

● Motor and power control system；
● Installation material；
● Installation and commissioning；
● Drawing of process description, equipment layout, construction conditional drawing for the oil equipment in
the workshop;
● Drawing of power control；
● Isolation and painting for equipment；
● Water recycling and cooling system outside the plant (i.e. supplementary device)；
● Staff training and long-term technical service.
◆Remarks: The service and supply mentioned above was limited by the following:(Except special
statement in the contract)
 Only Responsibility for starting to convey raw material or semifinished product from 1 meter place to
the plant；
 Only Responsibility for finishing to convey final product 1 meter outside the plant；
 Only Responsibility for finishing to convey by- product 1 meter outside the plant；
 Only Responsibility for starting to sent inlet water from 100 meter place to the plant；
 Only Responsibility for finishing to sent outlet waste water 1kilometer outside the plant；
 Assist material start has been sent to 1 meter place outside the plant；
 Power has been connected to the control panel in the plant；
 Steam has been sent to the steam header in the plant；
◆Seller are not responsible for the following supply and services.(expected for the special statements in the
contact).
● Crude and refining oil tanks outside the supply area；

Engineering range taken by the buyer:

● Responsible for the construction designing and construction；

● Responsible for the installation for the whole set of equipment
● Responsible for the freight and insurance；
● Responsible for all utility engineering, pipe works and tanks outside the plants；
● Pay for technical service (for installation guide, single machine test-run, test run, examining), it is $100
everyday for each of engineers.
● Additional fee will be required to the construction drawing by the seller.
● The Buyer should be responsible for the cost of engineers’ visa, accommodation, and round-trip tickets.

Part X

Payment Terms

The Buyer will transfers the payment for the Equipment and Technical Service into the Seller’s account as follows:
◆ The sum equal to 30% of the total amount of the Contract must be transferred by the buyer to the Seller’s account
directly within Five (5) bank working days from the date when the Contract has been both signed as down payment.
◆ The sum equal to 70% of the total amount of the Contract will be transferred by the buyer to the Seller’s account
directly after checking and accepting the finished equipment in the seller's factory at five(5) bank working days. The
goods are deemed accepted by the buyer after the signing of the "The act of acceptance of the equipment" by the
representatives of the seller and the buyer.
◆The Engineers’ salary should be paid before they leave for the Buyer’s place.
