It was the idea of Business Administration students from Nueva Ecija University of Science and
Technology, Ms. Ruthmae Atencion, Ms. Cindy Fortuna, Mark Joseph Ordanza, Ralph Renzo
Tayo and Dan Remocaldo these aspiring entrepreneurs are capable enough in handling a business
for they all have background knowledge in organization and management of a business. Ms
Atencion will be responsible for cash flows and will be the ones to create the marketing
strategies and promotions while Ms. Cindy will oversee the cycle and preparation of the business
and operations and other members will be helping with distribution, pricing and target market.

The Squash Fries are available in physical stores and set up a counter where customers can walk
in and place their order for My Squash Fries ,ensuring a streamlined ordering process with clear

The threat of potential competitors is marked as medium pressure. Possible new competitors can
easily enter the market especially when Squash fries become a hit in this area.it will be easy for
other entrepreneurs to enter the market but the threat is not much of a worry since for now, there
are only a few businesses that sell vegetables and it is mostly found online especially if
customers live in Nueva Ecija .so it means the business will attract loyal customers first other
than possible new entrants in the market as it is new to customer's eyes in Talavera Nueva Ecija
also. Squash fries have some interesting value propositions and unique selling propositions that
will surely capture the interest of customers, especially those customers or consumers who look
for a high-quality product with lowest price.

pack of fries ,while Savemore have higher prices. .

is different from quality they used

carefully think of new fries to capture customers’ interest and they also offer types of flavorful
sauce. My Squash Fries have almost the same type of chips being offered to different target
markets and the public. Savemore has limited healthy fries offered and what they’re offering is
common healthy fries
• In terms of employee standards . The Squash Fries are freshly made by the students who have
done thorough research to their products and make sure that they follow the standard and quality
making sure that the product is healthy, clean and fresh, having a difference from its competitors.

materials for its packaging.

My Squash Fries got the highest score with 120 points while Savemore got 115 points based
on our experiment and research by conducting free taste for those target markets who have
tried both products.

Differentiation Strategy:
The Squash fries offer products that include innovation in the world of Snacks. Specialities in the
fries are the business ‘ first priority . The menu of the business will be dissimilar from the others.
The business owners will create a varied menu and use different ingredients for producing a
variety of products . The Squash fries also has lots of services and promos that are in favor for
customers especially in the new normal situation other competitors have few services similar to
The Squash Fries but they’re not offering all of it especially the promos that the customers will
receive this business.
Proposed USP: The Squash Fries will be given 10% voucher for every 5 pieces purchase of chips
and every customer that will back and purchase 5 times on physical store will be given a loyalty
card, which means once a customer accept a loyalty card they will also accept a one free pack of
Squash Fries.

Municipality of Talavera . We will use this store as our storage room and will also cook our
product here , for people who want to taste our product but they are far from Talavera we will
make our products available in Facebook so that everyone who wants to have a taste of our
product can try it , we will also create a Facebook page and Instagram account for the post
updates about our product , for our customers who wants a delivery , they can message us and
send their addresses and orders through our Facebook/ Instagram page so that we can process

Squash Fries have a physical store which is located near the school and municipality of
Talavera, Customers can go to the store to buy their preferred healthy fries , they also can order
online for reservation and they can pick it up at the store or it can be delivered to their houses
the same day if it is located in Talavera or nearby places.

In a physical store they can pay using their cash and the business also accepts Gcash payment
after they choose healthy chips they will buy in delivery and facebook.

The ones who are preparing finished products for packaging and selling . Typically , a packer

Is very responsible to deliver our product and to note down the address and have the food items

Conclusion
The Entrepreneurs decided that the most ideal location to open the chip store was in the area at
the municipality of Talavera and not far away from schools. Although the Talavera area was
highlighted as one of the more suitable areas, the entrepreneurs considered the fact that there
were a lot of fries stores in other areas that were competing for market share compared to the
Talavera area. Although this was not a major concern in our location, close proximity to Schola
Christi and TNHS, as a major institution with numerous students , provided the necessary
customer base for a successful business.
There was a 100% increase in sales during the second year while another 100 % increase in sales
during the third year of the business. This sale forecast shows that there’s a big possibility that
business will be stable and successful with its continuous unique promotion.
Recommendation:
A thorough feasibility study is essential in determining the viability of a Squash Fries business.
Evaluating the cost of raw materials and production is a critical aspect. Squash, being a readily
available and affordable vegetable, can be a cost-effective ingredient. Assessing potential
revenue and profit margins is equally important. By conducting market research and price
comparisons, aspiring entrepreneurs can establish competitive pricing while ensuring
profitability. Understanding the different aspects such as distribution and storage must also be
considered. Developing efficient supply chains and storage solutions can help streamline
operations and meet customer demands effectively.
