This British Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee MCE/6 and is
the English language version of EN 733:1995, End-suction centrifugal pumps,
rating with 10 bar with bearing bracket — Nominal duty point, main dimensions,
designation system , published by the European Committee for Standardization
(CEN).
EN 733 was produced as a result of international discussions in which the
United Kingdom took an active part.
A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a
contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application.
Compliance with a British Standard does not of itself confer immunity

a The nominal delivery head values indicated for the nominal supply values are approximate values only. The precise values may be found in the manufacturer’s literature. 3
b According to ISO 7005-1, ISO 7005-2 and ISO 7005-3 the permitted temperature range may be found in the manufacturer’s li terature. 3

c Dimension to be considered by the manufacturer in respect of removal of inner parts of the pump. The dimension x must not be identical with the distance between the shafts of the
9
pump and the driving machine. The given dimension considers the use of flexible shaft couplings with spacer sleeve. The gap is necessary for the withdrawal of the rotor toward the 9
5 driven side. 5
