BWTS Data Retrieval

Requirements
PC/ Notebook to use for data retrieval:
CPU Pentium 4 - 2 GHz or faster recommended
Memory 1 GB minimum, 2 GB or more recommended
Available 2.0 GB or more on hard disk
Disk Space
Operating Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 3 or
System higher)
Microsoft Windows 7 32 and 64 bit
Microsoft Windows 8.1 32 and 64 bit
Microsoft Windows 10 32 and 64 bit
Microsoft Windows 11 32 and 64 bit
Web Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (Version 7 or higher
Browser recommended)

Software installation
• Select the file “Vijeo Designer Data Manager” from the CD (or download link) and install it to
your PC.
• In the first pop-up window select “Yes”
• In the following window, select “Next”

In the following window, select “Next”

In the next window carefully read the license agreement, and select “Yes”
Note: button “Yes” will be activated once you read the agreement

Press “Next” in the following window

When the installation of the program is complete, below window will appear.
Select “Finish”

Open the “Control Panel” from Windows Search and open the “Network and Internet”

Select the option “View network status and tasks”

Select “Ethernet”

The below window will appear. Select “Properties”

Click the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and select “Properties”

Modify identical with below picture and select “OK”

Do NOT retrieve data during BWTS operational modes.

Always during OFF mode.

Panel preparation
In the touch screen of the ERMA FIRST Panel, press: SERVICE from the MAIN MENU and the following
page will open:

Touch button "Data Retrieval" and press the following username and password:

After that, unlock the entry by selecting:

Enter the menu by selecting

Back to the previous menu and press again the Data Retrieval.

Double click the following icon from your Desktop.

1) Connect the monitor of system with PC via the Ethernet cable.

2) In the front panel, select: New Target Connection (ONLY FOR THE FIRST INSTALLATION), and
follow the next steps.
NOTE: Every time, you must select Media: user

• Select “Create”
• Configure identical with below picture

Connect ethernet cable from PC to any available port of Ethernet Switch – Main control panel.

Select "Retrieve Files" and click: Next to connect to the target.

In the window to retrieve files, Select “Alarms” and “Data Logging” – Specific date range can also
be selected.

!IMPORTANT! Select “Options” and modify identical with below picture !IMPORTANT!

• Select: "Retrieve" and wait for finalization.

Following window will appear.

Press the button “Launch Explorer” and the converted files with BWTS data will be available.

All digital data (critical alarms, attention alarms, valves or BWTS modes) are included in the “Alarms”
folder.
All analogue data (components, sensors) are included in the “Log” folder.
