SYNOPSIS
● Product
○ The product being advertised is Arda Wig’s cosplay wigs which come in a
variety of lengths, colors, and head sizes.
● Organization
○ I am creating this advertisement for Arda Wigs which targets cosplayers
and costume makers who require higher-quality synthetic wigs for
intensive styling. .
● Publishing Site
○ The publishing site I am targeting is the Cosplay Society Magazine which
is marketed directly to cosplayers looking for tutorials, cosplay
inspiration, and convention updates. Cosplay Society Magazine (as the
name suggests) is a subscription-based magazine that includes photos and
interviews as well as occasional editorials and advertisements.
● Design Documentation
○ The Cosplay Society Magazine layout typically includes text over a low-
opacity image of a cosplayer in a relevant costume. The editorial text is
split up by images featuring whatever the editorial text is about. The
Cosplay Society Magazine does not typically create native advertisements
but rather includes full-page advertisements next to an editorial. However,
I will be styling my native advertisement after the existing editorials with
the inclusion of a “sponsored by” text. The consumers will encounter the
ad as they flip through the magazine.
Because of the nature of the Cosplay Society Magazine (which does not have clickable
banners as it is a physical magazine) I will be creating a background image and layout to go
behind the editorial and then another with the actual text accompanying it. All images are my
own work that I’ve done with the product I am advertising.

Have you ever bought a wig for a cosplay off of Amazon or Aliexpress for a couple
bucks and gotten, well, what you paid for? Most cosplay wigs bought online have a shiny and
slippery texture that gets knotted easily and makes your cosplay scream “synthetic.” On top of
the wigs being made with poor-quality synthetic fibers, there will be very few wefts actually
sewn into the cap to make it fit for heavy styling. Sure, you can get somewhere with heavy
crimping and teasing, but most of the time, you end up having to buy another of the same wig
and spending hours ripping wefts out of one wig and sewing them into the cap of another.
Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem! Arda Wigs offers a fantastic alternative to
cheap synthetic wigs. Their wigs feature double-wefted, tangle-resistant fibers that save much of
the pre-styling prep work. Arda Wigs also has a wide variety of styles to choose from as your
base option, including wigs that have already been pulled into ponytails or pigtails. Another
amazing option with Arda Wigs is the ability to purchase extra wefts in case you want even more
thickness or to create ponytail bases. Because of the nature of Arda Wigs’s fibers, they also are
extremely tangle resistant. No longer will you have to have the stress of your wig tangling
irreparably before you even get out of the car to walk around the convention. For those who
make wigs for a living, you can even buy a sample set of all of their weft formulas and colors.
With Arda Wigs, you can create amazing wigs with gravity-defying hair or unnatural
shapes at half the work of buying a cheap wig. On top of all of this, Arda Wigs are extremely
affordable compared to lace-front or human-hair wigs. For beginner cosplayers all the way up to
master-level competitors, Arda Wigs has products to appeal to all.
