Very Good!

e.) Settling of the classroom

Okay class, to start our discussion for this

morning, what are you going to do when
the teacher is explaining?

B. Motivation

f.) Activity (Guess the

Picture)

Before we proceed to our lesson let’s have

an activity called “Guess the picture”.

Step 1: You will be divided into two

groups.

Step 2: Each group will identify the picture

that I will post on the board.

Step 3: Your answers will be based on the

clues and letters that I will also provide.

Step 4: The first group that will guess the

picture will be our winner.

Directions: Encircle the names of bodies

of water found in the puzzle.

Class, Just work collaboratively, and you

have 5 minutes to do your activity. You (Group 1 and Group 2 will start to answer
may start now. the activity)

Are you done class?

Yes ma’am!

Okay class, What are the 4 words that you

find on the pictures?

Group 1? Sea, Pond, Lake, and Falls ma’am!

Very Good!

How about the group 2? Sea, Pond, Lake, and Falls ma’am!
Good job Class! Both group 1 and 2 got
the correct answer, give yourself a 3 claps.

g.) Analysis

Let’s proceed to our discussion for this

morning, but before that I want you to
know that the activity that you did is our Sea, Pond, Lake, and Falls ma’am!
topic for this morning, what are the 4
bodies of water again?

Very Good!

The 4 bodies of water are sea, pond, lake,

and falls. And I will discuss to you on how
the water cycles work.

C. Abstraction

Based on the example that I’ve given.

What do you think is our topic today? Ma’am!
Anybody?

Yes Gielyn? “Our topic for this morning is all about A

WATER CYCLE ma’am!”

Very Good Gielyn!

Our topic for this morning is about “A

WATER CYCLE

But before that here are the 4 bodies of

water with their meaning.
1. Sea- a great body of salt water that
covers much of the earth.
2. Pond- a still area of water smaller
than a lake, often artificially made.
3. Lake- is abody of water that is
surrounded by land.
4. Falls- any point in a river or stream
where water flows over a vertical
drop or series of steep drops.

Did you understand pupils? (The students will say Yes)

And did you know that a water cycle has a

4 stages, which are the Evaporation,
Condensation, Precipitation and (The teacher will show the 3D picture to
Collection. the pupils)

Okay class, I prepared here a 3D picture

of a water cycle, and while I am explaining
here in front I want you to observe on how
water cycle works and its process.

Did you understand class? Yes ma’am!

Very Good!
- Water is an important component of
Earth that is essential to the survival of all
living things .It is also wonderful to know
that water is recycled by the nature. The
continuous movements of water in our
environment through the processes of
evaporation, condensation, precipitation,
and collections is called water cycle.

The 4 stages of water cycle

1. Evaporation- happens when a liquid
turns into gas. It can be easily visualized
when rain puddles “disappear” on a hot
day or when we clothes dry in the sun.
2. Condensation- is the process through
which the physical state of matter changes
from the gaseous phase into the liquid
phase.
3. Precipitation- is water released from
clouds in the form of rain, freezing rain,
sleet, snow, or hail.
4. Collection- in the water cycle occurs
when precipitation releases fresh water
back to the earth, and it’s collects in
bodies of water such as lakes, streams
and rivers.

Do you understand class? Yes ma’am!

Very Good!

Any questions? None Ma’am

Okay class, I prepared some question that

you need to answer. The first pupil will
give the correct answer will be having a
reward.

Are you ready? Yes ma’am!

First question, based on the lesson that we

discussed, what are the 4 stages of water Ma’am!
cycle?

Yes Norhan? The 4 stages of a water cycle are

Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation
and Collection ma’am!
Very Good!

For the next question, based on the

activity that you’ve answered or that you
did what are the 4 bodies of the water? Ma’am!

Yes Liza Mae? The 4 bodies of water are Sea, Pond,

Lake, and Falls ma’am!

Amazing!

Another question, It happens when a liquid

turns into gas. It can be easily visualized
when rain puddles “disappear” on a hot Ma’am!
day or when we clothes dry in the sun.

Yes Abestano? Evaporation ma’am!

Excellent!

Next question, is the process through

which the physical state of matter changes
from the gaseous phase into the liquid Ma’am!
phase.

Arcenal? Condensation ma’am!

Very Good!

Another one question, is water released

from clouds in the form of rain, freezing
rain, sleet, snow, or hail. Ma’am!

Sarah?
Precipitation ma’am!
Very Good!

For the last question, is the water cycle

occurs when precipitation releases fresh
water back to the earth, and it’s collects in
bodies of water such as lakes, streams
and rivers. Ma’am!

Yes Maya?
Collection ma’am!
Very Good!

E. Generalization

Again class, what are the 4 stages of a “Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation

water cycle? and Collection Ma’am!”

Very Good!

How about the 4 bodies of the water? “Sea, Pond, Lake, and Falls Ma’am!”

Okay amazing!
Good job class!

F. Application

Since all of you understand our lesson for

this morning we will have an activity and
you will be divided into two groups.

Direction: Write in each box the correct

stage of a water cycle as shown in the

Write your answer in a ¼ sheet of paper.

1. Water cycle is shows the continuous movement of water within the Earth and
atmosphere. It is a complex system that includes many different processes.

2. Evaporation is happens when a liquid turns into gas.

3. Condensation is the process through which the physical state of matter changes from
the gaseous phase into the liquid phase.

4. Human can live without water.

5. Precipitation will result water vapor.
