Arrival Leh
Arrival Leh, Thomas Cook representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to Hotel in Leh. Rest of the day
free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the evening take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh. Overnight at
Hotel in Leh.
Day 2

Morning after breakfast visit Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery and Kali Mata Temple, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara
Patthar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar - Indus rivers. Return to Leh for lunch (on own). Dinner and overnight
stay at the hotel in Leh.
Ladakh of fame: The Hall of Fame is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. It is worth a visit for
every citizen. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons
used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh. And belongings of the enemy soldiers found
at war site.
Spituk Gompa: 8 Kms from Leh, it stands prominently on the top of hillock commanding a panoramic view of the
Indus Valley for miles. Many icons of Buddha and fine Thankas are to be found in this 15th century Gompa. The
Gompa also houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms, and an awe-inspiring image of Mahakaal. The
face of the Kali image is kept covered and is revealed only at the annual function at January every year.
Magnetic Hill: Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been
noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill that's the

Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahid: Situated 25 miles from Leh, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib stands at the place where
Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru, is believed to have vanquished a demon.
Conflenct of the Zanskar and Indus: On way to Sham Valley before Nimu village one can have this magnificent
view of two rivers in wed-lock! In seasons they have different colors and flow and wildness.

Leh - Nubra Via Khardungla Pass (140 Kms / 5 - 6 hrs)

Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive
Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (On Own). Later if
time permits visit Hunder Sand Dunes and Diskit monastery and check in at Deluxe Camp. Evening at leisure.
Overnight at the camp.
Khardungle Pass: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road
in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass.

Deskit Village: Deskit is the main village of headquarter of Nubra valley, which has a small market consisting of a
row of shops and about 500 years old Gompa on the hilltop. Spectacular view of the valley can be seen from the
monastery.
Deskit Gompa: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of
King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery.
Hundar Village: Hundar is a beautiful village to stay with lot of trees and you will really enjoy your stay at Hundar. It
has a small monastery and ruined fort above the village. The walk or Camel Safari (Double Hump bacterian
camels) from Hundar to Deskit, through sand dunes for two hours is wonderful (on own).

Nubra - Pangong Lake

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft.) enroute visit Shyok River and Durbuk Village. Arrive at
Pangong Lake is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India and China. Enjoy the
beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake with multi-colour reflections and the fascinating high altitude of
the Lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake in camp/cottage
Day 5

Pangong - Leh:
This morning, after breakfast, drive around the Pangong Lake and don't forget to click photos!! Afterwards drive to
Leh through the Changla Pass 17,350 ft is the third highest motor-able road in the world. Arrival at Leh and if time
permits afternoon free at leisure to roam around Leh Markets for shopping and personal activities, overnight at
Hotel in Leh.
Day 6

Leh Excursion To Monasteries

After breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery Starting with Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation
of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, Thiksey Monastery an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a
hill above the village, Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, 3 Idiots Rancho School and Sindhu Ghat. After
visiting the above places we drive back to Leh. Evening at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Tour price is dynamic. The person booking tour early is likely to get the lowest price as communicated/offered
by the Company, subject to availability of seats.
The vehicle used for transfers is not at disposal.
Please consult driver / local representative for next day's sightseeing / transfers schedule
Health Tip: Due to sudden change in altitude, we advise people travelling to Ladakh region to take sufficient
time in acclimatization. Avoid running / fast walking. This tour is not recommended for people suffering Heart
Problems, Epilepsy and Asthma; please consult your doctor before booking on this tour. People should consult
a Medical Expert before using medicines like Diamox for mountain sickness.
Health Tip: Drink plenty of water. Always carry water bottle with you while on sightseeing.
At Pangong /Nubra/ Tsomoriri , a very basic accommodation in available.
The Khardung La pass may remain close till first week of May. In that case the tourist will do excursion to
Khardung La and stay at Leh in place of Nubra Valley.
Tour-programme is subject to change depending upon circumstances
Pangong stay will be subject to operation of Camps. Alternatively, we will arrange day trip to Pangong and next
day will be kept free for optional activities or shopping

Electricity: Nubra, Pangong , Sarchu Tsokar and Tsomoriri electricity is not available after 2200 hrs
Connectivity: In Ladakh, prepaid Sim issued from other states doesn't work. Only post-paid sim of Airtel, BSNL
and JIO works. Vodafone and Idea sim does not work. In order to get prepaid sims in Ladakh.
