DAY 01
ARRIVAL AT GANGTOK
➔ Reach Bagdogra / NJP station.
➔ Our local representative will meet you to
at the airport/station as they will provide
a transfer to the hotel.
➔ Check in at the hotel/resort.
➔ Evening is free to go & discover the local
beauty of Gangtok.
➔ Do visit the beautiful M. G. Marg(on
your own). *
➔ Overnight stay in hotel at Gangtok.

* The M. G. Marg is the town centre of

Gangtok. It is lined up with glittering shops,
restaurants, bars and cafes on both sides. All
buildings of this road are painted green.
DAY 02
TSOMGO LAKE -
BABA MANDIR
➔ After breakfast, day excursion to the
beautiful Tsomgo Lake. *
➔ Travel to Baba Mandir *, another 17 km
beyond Tsomgo Lake.
➔ Head back to Gangtok.
➔ Overnight stay at Gangtok.

* Tsomgo Lake is an oval shaped glacial lake.

It is home to brahminy ducks & several
migratory birds.
* Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is popularly
known as Baba Mandir. This temple was
made in the memory of an Indian Army
soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh.

DAY 03
GANGTOK TO LACHEN
➔ Drive to Lachen * (9500 ft.) via
Chungthang town.
➔ Lunch in the mid-way on own.
➔ Transfer to the hotel after reaching
Lachen.
➔ Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Lachen.

* Lachen is a village in North Sikkim

surrounded by snow capped peaks and
beautiful alpine meadows. Its natural beauty
and serene vegetation are worth
commending and it is believed to be one of
the most noteworthy and popular places for
Buddhist pilgrims & tourists.
DAY 04
LACHEN - GURUDONGMAR
LAKE - LACHUNG
➔ Start early at 5 am, morning breakfast at
Thangu.
➔ Proceed for excursion trip through the
Kanchenjunga National Park(admission
non-permissible) to Gurudongmar Lake. *
➔ Witness the beauty of the lake & then
return to Lachen.
➔ Post lunch, transfer to Lachung.
➔ Enjoy your dinner & stay at Lachung.

* Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest

lakes in the world. It is considered as a
sacred lake and is encircled by snow
covered mountains.
DAY 05
LACHUNG - YUMTHANG
VALLEY - GANGTOK
➔ After breakfast, start off for Yumthang
Valley (valley of flowers). *
➔ On the way back from the valley, visit Hot
Spring.
➔ Back to resort for lunch & then transfer to
Gangtok.
➔ Enjoy your stay at Gangtok.

* Lachung is a village which is home to the

19th century Buddhist Lachung Monastery.
* Yumthang Valley is the summer gazing
ground of Yaks and winter playgrounds for
Yetis.

DAY 06
END OF THE TRIP

➔ After breakfast, proceed for NJP station /

Bagdogra station (IXB) in morning.
➔ Board your train / flight for your
destination.
➔ Have a great journey towards your
hometown.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

➔ As soon as you pay, you will receive confirmation voucher from Thrillophilia and also PayU, our
transaction partner.
➔ The remaining amount needs to be paid on or before the mentioned date below the links.

CANCELLATION POLICY
➔ If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be
charged as cancellation fees.
➔ If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will
be charged as cancellation fees.
➔ If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will
be charged as cancellation fees.
POINTS TO NOTE
➔ As per state guidelines, Travellers wearing a turban are not allowed in Lachen.
➔ Thrillophilia reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary for reasons that are beyond
control like Natural calamity, weather conditions, road block etc.
➔ Pick up from the airport should be mandatorily between 5 am to 7 pm. Beyond these timings, it
is recommended to stay in Siliguri & Traveller is advised to let Thrillophilia know before booking if
they are arriving after 7 PM in Siliguri so that Thrillophilia can rearrange their Itinerary.
➔ By default, We arrange a standard room in the category that travellers books. In case a traveller
prefers an upper category room or a suite, they are requested to inform before booking the
package.
➔ Senior citizens and travellers younger than 4 years are not recommended to go to Gurudongmar
Lake because of low oxygen. Permits for the infant under 2 years of age are not granted by North
Sikkim tourism that means if you have a baby, You will not be allowed to go to North Sikkim.
➔ Nathula Pass is Indo-China Border which is operated by the Indian Army. There are
some limitations to the entry of civilian therefore this place is optional in the itinerary.
Travellers can opt for visiting this place at an additional charge directly to the tour
operator. However, whether the travellers will be permitted to Nathula pass still
depends on the instructions of Sikkim Tourism on the particular day of visit morning
at 09:30 AM. Also, Nathula Check Post closes at 10:30 am & is closed on Monday &
Tuesday every week.
➔ Unless specified, by default the hotels in North Sikkim are considered Standard in
standard and deluxe packages. And Deluxe in super deluxe and premium packages.
For any upgrade, kindly check before booking.
➔ In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities
or sightseeing may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try to provide an
alternate feasible activity when it’s possible. A refund may not be applicable & we may
not be responsible for any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like
landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc
➔ Foreigners are not allowed to visit the Baba Mandir,Lachen and Nathula Pass. For
changu lake and lachung, an indian guide has to escort the foreigner.
➔ Any sightseeing point which is not completed due to time constraints, traffic jam,
natural calamities, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason
beyond control, Thrillophilia does not take the liability for a refund or a discount.

➔ Thrillophilia may do their best to provide an accommodation out of the

accommodation list shared with the guest however a *similar hotel in the category
booked by the traveller may also be assigned pertaining to various reasons like
unavailability, Maintenance, Security, feedback from multiple guests & extenuating
circumstances like an accident at a hotel or intervention of local authorities, bad
weather, Political/social disturbances, roadblocks, VVIP movements & state transport
rule prohibition. We will inform you about the change & reasons behind it in
advance.
