Unusual fire and explosion hazards: Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and
vapors.
SECTION VI - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions: Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes. See sections VII & VIII for personal
protective equipment & handling.
Environment precautions: Review fire and safety precautions before proceeding with clean up. Do not allow
material to contaminate ground water system. Dike and contain spill with an inert
[e.g. sand, earth, etc.] absorbent. Collect the absorbed material in plastic bag for
final disposal. Transfer liquid to container for recovery or disposal. Keep spill out
of sewers and open bodies of water.
Cleaning methods: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, sawdust etc). Keep in
suitable, closed containers for disposal. Do not let this material enter the
environment. Contaminated equipment must be cleaned immediately with water.
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
SECTION VII- HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for safe handling: If handle with care there is no need of any precautions.
