1.0 PURPOSE:
To ensure that the quality of the finished products meet the specifications.
2.0 SCOPE:
This is applicable to the finished products of the BU-FP (Except Nestle Product).
3.0 DEFINITIONS:
3.1 Reels A large number of wrappers wound in a single length with a small width on a
core.
3.2 Sleeves Centrally glued, both side open shrink labels.
3.3 Bags Two or three side sealed sachet.
3.4 Cones Wrapper for ice-cream cone.

5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1.1.10 Re-winding reels of each job will be placed on separate pallet. M/c operator
5.1.1.11 After re-winding, procedure will be follow from 5.1.1.2 to 5.1.1.9 M/c operator
5.1.1.12 Sample of each slitted reel will be provided to QA as per customer/business M/c operator
unit requirement (for curling of UPL soap wrapper)

5.1.2 Sleeves/Bags/Cones:
5.1.2.1 Machine operator will define a lot in SAP M/c operator
5.1.2.2 One shift production of each machine will be consider as a one lot M/c operator
5.1.2.3 Lot will show the box numbers from start to end M/c operator
5.1.2.4 Machine operator will paste the lot number on a pallet M/c operator
5.1.2.5 List of all the lots will be appear in system and updated automatically Manager System
5.1.2.6 Sampling will be done from the packed cases of each lot, as per sampling plan QAS / LA
of annexure – B
5.2 Inspection And Testing QAS / LA

5.3.1 The results will be entered in QA software /reported on the respective test
report Performa. The value of grammage will be reported to the nearest whole QAS / LA
number, e.g., 93.50 will be reported as 94 and 93.49 as 93.
5.4 Releasing Of Stock QAS / LA
5.4.1 The testing will be done at Temp. 25 ± 5 ºC and Humidity 60 ± 10 %.
5.4.2 Release / hold of the lot will be based on the results of the critical parameters
only.
5.4.3 For reels, release /hold of the lot will be according to sampling table of
annexure – A and for sleeves/cones/bags according to sampling tables of
annexure – B.
5.4.4 For attribute parameters, lot of reels/sleeves/cones/bags will be released / held
according to the sampling table for attribute parameters. If the number of
defective samples equals to or is greater than “Re”, lot will be held otherwise
released. QAS / LA
For variable parameters, lot will be held on the basis of one defective sample
