challenge extends to elucidating the significance of incorporating vivid imagery, dialogue, and

2 Personal Goals
Introduction I will be exploring and distinguishing two personal goals and two
professional goals in relation to developing a strong and resilient mind. We will find
methods that would help achieve these goals. We will be creating scenarios that for each
personal goal established and what method used to achieve that goal.
First personal goal is to pay more attention and ask questions if I do not hear correctly.
I may seem bit off in my own world to say the least but it is nothing of the sort. I do
listen; however, I do not always hear them due to my bad hearing from military service. I
do not like annoying people by asking them to repeat themselves, so I try to simply wing
it when possible.
Methods would be to practice mindfulness and accept ... Show more content on

I must be on my game in relation to the details of the project. There is one additional
artist who fails to meet the standards in place in relation to file formats and I get
anxious for we are on a timeline. Instead of being easily overwhelmed and anxious, I
step back and reassess the situation. I breath, smile, and simply correct the issue before
the passing deadline comes. By doing this, I come across grounded, professional, and
dealt the situation in a positive manner.
Second professional goal would be more mindful and understanding to the client when
trying the understand there needs. Being a retired graphic shop team leader, I had to deal
directly with clients and try to understand their needs. At times this was no easy task, for
a client may not always know what he/she may want. This can be truly confusing and
even annoying.
Methods would be to practice mindfulness, be positive, and gradually offer ideas to
him/her to help the process be easier for both parties (Mercola, 2013). It seems to be
easier for the client to deal with a more laid back, positive, and more mindful
representative, for he/she may not know much of anything with my trade. This would be
more welcoming for the client room for ideas which both parties can reach the intended

Jakes paid back only $2,500 of the $100,000 before going into liquidation. ANZ brought
an action against Westpac to recover the overpayment, however Westpac sought to rely
on the defence of ministerial receipt. Bth parties acted on the basis of concessions made
by Westpac that the reduction of the overdraft anad the payment of certain cheques which
could have been dishonoured by Westpac at the time was notified of the mistake should
be ignored for the purposes of determining whether the moneys had been applied.
As a result of the concessions it was accepted by Westpac that it had not applied $17,021

2. Mercedes Benz v ANZ and National Mutual Royal Savings Bank Ltd (Part 2),
Mrs R was employed by the plaintiff as a payroll supervisor. By arrangement with the
second defendant, she was given forms for opening accounts for new employees of the
plaintiff, and she received cards and PINs for accessing those accounts. The plaintiff
paid wages and commissions by issuing a cheque in favour of NMRB who then credited
the appropriate accounts.
There was virtually no supervision of Mrs R after her appointment, nor did the second
defendant ever question the creation of accounts. Mrs R defrauded the plaintiff company
using several different schemes. For the purposes of the present note, the relevant scheme
was to create accounts in fictitious
Phosphorylation Is The Formation Of A High Energy Bond...
Phosphorylation is the formation of a high energy bond between a phosphate group and a
target molecule in the presence of an enzyme. In a cellular environment, it is estimated
that 1/10th to half of the total proteins are phosphorylated to perform a specific function
in the cell. The concept of protein phosphorylationwas first introduced by Edmond
Fischer and Edwin Krebs in the year 1955, where they elucidated the necessity of ATP
and a kinase (Known then as converting enzyme). Interestingly, a reaction which
involved protein phosphatases (PP) was reported a decade earlier, but it was not
characterized as PP reaction because of the inability to detect inorganic phosphate as a
product.1
Since the above mentioned early discoveries, it has been well established in eukaryotic
cells that reversible phosphorylation of proteins, executed by kinases and PP, regulate
major signal transduction cascades. The highly specific signaling and reversible nature of
phosphorylation seems to suggest that there would be similar number of protein kinases
and PP, but sequencing of human genome has revealed that about 3% of the genome
codes for kinases and PP, out of which serine/threonine phosphatases (PSP) are 2 5 times
fewer than serine/threonine kinases (PSK). This irregularity in between PSK and PSP
can be explained by the combinatorial formation of PSP holoenzyme formed in between
common catalytic and varying regulatory subunits.1
This short review focuses on one of the major PSP, known
History Is False Research Paper
History is False
History is dictated by the victors (Churchill). No victor in a war will criticize the actions
they took during the war or justify their enemies actions, condemning their enemy in the
history books. After the war is won the politicians decree how the events are told. With
no one to oppose the legislators write the history books from their own perspective,
shaping the minds of everyone who reads history books. Victors of conflict dictate how
history is molded, because as winners of war they are the policy makers with political
influence.
The winners of war hold all the political power. After the war there is the victors and
the defeated. In most cases wars are fought till the other side is eliminated, leaving one
side still standing. The side still standing holds absolute power over the other country
because, they are still intact. When other nations have crumbled they still hold power.
How could a country without power oppose them? To end WWI the Treaty of Versailles
was signed between Germany and the Allies. With Germany in crumbles the Allies held

They can change the history books to praise allies and bash enemies, while making
themselves seem divine. In 1937 the Japanese Empire invaded China and massacred
300,000 civilians and unarmed combatants, during a six week period. Knowledge of
this is unknown to most people. Everyone has heard about the holocaust because the
Germans were America s foe during the war. Shining light on the holocaust was a way
to make the American public loath the Germans. The reason you don t hear about the
atrocities committed by Japan is because they became an American allie after the war,
and because of the the nuclear bombs being dropped on two of her cities. Is it fair that
this information is being withheld because someone feels guilty? This information can

The Rural Class In John Steinbeck s The Grapes Of Wrath
John Steinbeck wrote profoundly about the economic problems faced by the rural class
during the Great Depression. In almost all of John Steinbeck s novels he depicts
characters circumstances with sufferings, economic hardships, racial injustice, and
various social plights. His books are a cry of social rage, bitterness, wisdom and basically
left wing politics. In the Grapes of Wrathhe tells the story of the Joad family during the
period of the dust bowland The Great Depression. The Joad s family trip from the dust
bowl of Oklahoma in hopes of finding work in the verdant fields of California. It tells
about the horrible, unsanitary living conditions, and low wages. Of Mice and Men tells
of two migrant workers in California who move from
Essay about Egt1 Task 1
Marginal Analysis
Economics amp; Global Business Applications, EGT 1, Task 1

A. Explanation of profit maximization

The total revenue, TR, is the overall amount of all sources of a business s income. It
consists of total sales or profit, over a period of time. The TR can be calculated by
taking the price and multiplying it by the quantity. For example, if a business decides to
retail another product and the total revenue does increase, thus the marginal revenue
would be greater than zero. However, if the business decides to sell another product and
the marginal revenue is zero, then there would not be any changes to the total revenue.
To determine profit maximization, using the Total Revenue to Total Cost approach,
consider the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This increase in widgets will provide Company A with a MR of $140 dollars per widget.
In addition, applying the same formula to the maximum of 15 widgets produced
($1200 150/15) also results in a MR of $70 per widget. In the provided scenario,
Company A has experienced decreasing MR for every one more widget they produce.
C. Calculation used to determine Marginal Cost
In comparison, the marginal cost is the added cost of producing one more unit of
output. It is determined by the change in total cost (TC) divided by the change in
output (Q). MC= TC/Q. In the provided scenario, for Company A to produce one
widget TC=$30, to produce two widgets TC=$50 thus the marginal cost was $20;
furthermore the cost per widget to produce was $25. Marginal cost will continue to
decrease for Company A until they reach their profit maximization of $42.86 per
widget at 7 widgets. Marginal cost will then begin to decrease for every additional
widget produced until the end result of 15 widgets with a MC that exceeds $80, also
allowing TC to topple to TR ($1220/15=$81.33).
D. Company A profit maximization Quantity| Total Revenue| Total Cost| 7| $840| $300|
Company A reaches its greatest profit maximization with a Quantity of 8 because the
total revenue is at the greatest distance from total cost. (TFC+TVC=TC); Price x
Quantity = TR; Price =$115
Profit is the difference between TR and
