IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. The test is of 2 hours duration and the Test Booklet contains 48 single-choice questions
12 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry
and Biology. 20 questions in each subject are divided into two Sections (A and B) as per details
given below:
(a) Section A shall consist of 20 (Twenty) Questions in Physics (Question No. – 1 to 16 SCQ
and 17 to 20 MCQ). All questions are compulsory.
(b) Section B shall consist of 20 (Twenty) questions in Chemistry (Question No. – 21 to 36 SCQ
and 37 to 40 MCQ). All questions are compulsory.
(c) Section C shall consist of 20 (Twenty) questions in Biology (Question No. – 41 to 56 SCQ
and 57 to 60 MCQ).
All questions are compulsory.
2. Each single-choice question carries 3 marks for each correct response. For each incorrect response, 1
mark will be deducted from the total score.
3. Each multiple-choice question carries 6 marks for each correct response. No negative marking.
