circuit. Show that the Battery delivers the maximum power to R. When Rr.(d) Write and explain the
magnetic elements of the earth.
(e) A pair of adjacent coils X and Y has a mutual inductance of 1.5 mH. If the current in the coil X changes
from 0 to 10 A in 0.04 S. Then calculate the average induced e.m.f. in the coil Y. If the coil Y has 100 turns,
then find the rate of change of flux through each turn of this coil

5.Derive the expression for magnetic field intensity due to a bar magnet at any point on its broad side on

6.Derive an expression for the electric field intensity due to an electric dipole at any point on
Its equatorial line and show that the direction of The field is parallel to the axis of the dipole.[5+2]

7.Explain the Bohr’s model of hydrogen atom and obtain the expressions for its radius and energy of the nth
state.

Discuss the experimental findings in connection with photoelectric effect. Establish Einstein’s
