I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards - The learner demonstrates understanding of the elements of Daoism.
- The learner demonstrates understanding of the elements of Confucianism.
- The learner demonstrates understanding of the elements of Shintoism.
B. Performance Standards - The learner identifies the things she can do without by making an inventory of personal belongings (e.g. things in the bedroom) and writes a reflection on
Taoism based on the result of the inventory.
- The learner presents a character sketch of a person who personifies the Confucian virtues.
- The learner interprets the Kojiki creation story creatively.
C. Learning - Analyze the brief history, core teachings, fundamental beliefs, practices, and related issues of Daoism
