    The 22nd Annual Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, January 28th, 2024. The race will begin downtown at 6 AM and proceed along the MacArthur Causeway into Miami Beach and through various neighborhoods before finishing by 2 PM. Many roads along the race route will be closed from 5 AM to between 8 AM and 2 PM, including the MacArthur Causeway, Ocean Drive, Venetian Causeway, and others. It is recommended to use alternate routes like the Julia Tuttle Causeway during these times. Traffic will be managed by local police departments and roads will reopen on a rolling basis once the last racers have passed through.

    TRAFFIC ADVISORY
    SUNDAY, JANUARY 28th, 2024
    6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    MIAMI, FL -The following road closures will take place on Sunday, January 28th, 2024 for the 22nd Annual Life Time Miami Marathon and Half
    Marathon. The race will begin at 6 AM at the Kaseya Center downtown and will proceed to Miami Beach via the MacArthur Causeway
    up Ocean Drive, over the Venetian Causeway and as far south as Coconut Grove. All participants are completely off the course by 2 PM
    for the reopening of the roads, however, most of the roadways will be clear before then due to the rolling reopening procedures.
    Traffic will by managed by the City of Miami, Miami Beach and Miami Dade Police Departments. It is recommended for the Julia Tuttle Causeway
    be utilized for access to and from Miami Beach from 6 AM to 10 AM. The Port of Miami will remain open, please access through NE 5th Street.
