Understanding similarities
We see similarities everywhere - in particular species of plant, animal,
body structures/colour/habits of people living in specific region,
castes, creed etc., Similar cells together form tissue, similar tissues
together form an organ. Similarities are the reason of the growth of
living beings. We also observe symmetry in structure of evolved
organisms.

Since many years, humans are using similarities as a tool to heal

themselves eg., eating Walnut for Brain, Papaya for Uterus related
problems, bitter gourd for pancreas/diabetes, and many more. We use
similarity principle either stucturally or functionally Eg., Ginger for
Cough & congestion in chest as it is hot in property.

SUJOK level 1 is also based on the principles of similarities where we

say- "Our hand is the Handbook of our body". Just like hands our feet
also corresponds to our body.
'SU' means Hand and 'JOK' means Foot
We see similarities everywhere BUT we are also observing
dissimilarities/changes at the same time. WHY THERE'S NO 100%
SIMILARITY ?? WHO CREATED SIMILARITY ?? THINK ABOUT IT...

1
Plotting the reference lines

Draw the main reference lines as shown in the figure.

In Sujok, we see 2 diaphragms on the hand one is below the thumb joint and the
other is on the wrist line. similarly on foot also.

Why do we draw 2 diaphragms?

The diaphragm below the thumb is to see the body above diaphragm i.e.,
Lungs heart trachea etc., and the diaphragm drawn on the wrist is to see the
body below diaphragm i.e., abdominal organs.

2
LINES ON PALM-
1st reference line on palm
starting between middle & ring
finger.
2nd line starting between the
index and middle finger
3rd line starting between ring and
little finger

Divide the central line/palm

horizontally in 3 equal by
drawing 2 equidistant
horizontal lines.
