Before we proceed to our topic for today,

I want you to arrange the following pictures

first. Yes ma'am.

Direction: Arrange the puzzle.


III.3 ACTIVITY

Now, let's have an activity.

will group you into 2 groups.

This row will be the group 1 and this

row is the group 2.

Now listen, I will show a pictures then you must

name the picture. The group who will answer it first

will get the points.

(1 pts for each member of the group)

Our lesson for today is about the

Parts of the flowers and it's function.

Are you ready to know what are the

Parts of flowers and its function? Yes ma'am we are ready to learn.

Okay listen carefully.

Flower has its parts and function.

Here are the parts of flower:

Petal, Stigma, Pollen tube, Ovary,

Ovule, Carpel, Receptacle, Anther,

Stem, Filament, Stamen Style and Sepal.

Those parts has its own function like petal, its

usually function conspicuous elements serving

to attract specific pollinators to the flower.

Do you now understand the function of petal class ?

Very good!

Okay let's proceed to the next part. Just listen class.

The other part is stigma. Stigma is a topmost part of

carpels in the gynoecium of flower.

Next, we have pollen tube. It is carry the male

towards the ovary through stigma and style.


Next is, ovary. Ovary contains ovules, which develop

seeds upon fertilization.

Next we have ovule, it is function as the organ that

forms the seed of flowering plants. Next we have carpel,

it is the female reproductive organ that enclose the

ovules in the flowering plants. Next, receptacle. It is the

central part of a flower. Next part is stem, the main

function of stem are to support and elevation of

leaves fruits and flowers. Next is anther, it is help a

flower to create pollen. The next part is, filament.

It holds the anther up within the flowers.

Next is stamen, it is the male reproductive organ of

flowering plants. Next is sepal, it is an organ that

enclose and protects the developing reproductive

structures.

So those are the parts of a flower and their

functions class.
