The key takeaways are that animals move differently depending on their habitat and body structures, and habitat is important for animals to live normally.

The objectives are to compare the body movements of animals in their habitat, construct a prototype model of an organism that can survive in a given environment, and understand the importance of habitat to animal's movement.

Some examples of habitats discussed are streams, grasslands, deserts, reefs, and open sea.

D. Discussing new concepts and

practicing new skills #1

 Animals move differently depending

on their habitat and their body
structures.
 Animals that live on land move
in different ways. Some walk,
jump, and hop. Others fly and
crawl.
 Most animals that live in water
swim. but some aquatic animals
have legs, too, for walking. e.g.
crustaceans shrimp, prawn, and
crabs.
 Animals that can live both in
water and on land can either
walk, hop, jump or swim.

Why do animals have different

movements?

E. Discussing new concepts and

practicing new skills #2

Let’s have our group activity. So every

group has five members.

F. Developing mastery
Now, we will be having an individual (Student get pen and paper)
quiz, get a paper and pen.

Directions. Give at least five animals

that can move in their particular
habitat.
 Water
 Land
 Air
 Both Water and Air
