The lesson plan is for a vocal ensemble class to rehearse the Suo Gan piece. The objective is for students to perform measures 7-25 with accurate dynamics by the end of the lesson. The teacher will review sections of the piece with sopranos/altos and baritones, emphasizing the marked dynamics. Students will sing through sections and full ranges, with the teacher providing feedback and corrections. They will conclude by performing the full piece with piano accompaniment.

Assessment of Objective(s)/Performance Indicator(s) Students participate and answer questions the teacher prompts. Universal Design for Learning T will display their computer screen of logic on the projector for students to look at and follow along and see everything that is going on T will play the tracks in logic for S to get accustomed to the piano accompaniment as well as the other things that will be happening while they sing. T will explain musical symbols and words.

T will conduct S through m. 7-14, showing S the desired dynamics through their conducting. T will highlight the dynamics they would like the S to observe and perform Piano at 7 and 11, cresc at 15 T will run 7-15 again. If S perform correctly, continue on through m 20 without stopping. If S performance is unsatisfactory, try from m 7 again. After singing through m 16 through 20, T will highlight what they would like S to observe and perform M 16 mp, m 18 cresc poco a poco, m 19 descres. T will ask what does cresc poco a poco means.
