NAME OF THE COMPONENT: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV level 4 plus, a three-year National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics/
Purchasing/ Public Administration/ Financial Management and Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualifications
(NQF 6/7 as recognised by SAQA) with 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain management/ procurement of which 3 years

DUTIES: The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Coordinate, review and execute the bidding process.

from service providers in database according to the threshold values determined by the National Treasury. Accurate
recording of bids received and renders a secretariat service to the Bid Committees. Evaluate and Ensure that College
SCM processes are adhered to by all, Supervise and render demand and acquisition clerical support, Supervise and

NAME OF THE COMPONENT: CORPORATE SERVICES
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV level 4 plus a recognised bachelor’s degree/ National Diploma in Marketing/Public
Relation/Communication. A minimum of 3 years working experience in the relevant field. Knowledge of branding and
culture development. Knowledge of events management and coordination. Knowledge and practical experience in news
writing, reviewing and proof reading. Knowledge of media management. Knowledge of TVET sector will be an added
advantage. Strong interpersonal skills. Planning and organisational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills,
analytical skills, financial and budgetary skills, and ability to work under pressure and be willing to travel & work irregular

DUTIES: Coordinate marketing, promotion, and branding service for the college. Develop and manage brand identity.
Implement college branding strategy. Develop and produce college publication i.e., information brochures, annual report,
and newsletter. Manage public relation and media liaison service. Coordinate college events including exhibitions
participation, price giving, official functions and special marketing events. Manage college campaigns on social media and
online communication. Regularly maintain the content design and layout of the college website. Coordinate college events
and provide communication administration support. Provide photography service and write stories for the college Draft
articles for the colleges electronic and manual newsletter. Marketing the college through branding during the event. Verify
and make recommendation on all articles, perform any other related duties attached to the post. Assist in the development
of and ensure the successful implementation of the communication policy to promote and enhance communication within
and outside the college.

DUTIES: Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Campus Manager, Heads of
Departments, Senior lecturers, Lecturers, students, parents, and support staff in the organisations. Managing the
examination preparation process. This includes preparing examination timetables for students and staff; ordering of
examination stationery; creating seating plans for each examination room; briefing candidates, staff, and parents,
receiving, checking, and securely storing confidential examination materials; administering internal assessment etc.
Updating examination related policies. Ensure overall supervision and establishment of the function of the Irregularity
Committee. Ensure the overall supervision and management of issuing the certificates. Ensure overall supervision and
proper administration of the examination services. Supervise human, physical, and financial resources.

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV level 4 plus a recognized three (3) year National Diploma in Financial Management
(NQF level 6). 1-2 years’ experience in financial environment / bursary environment. Knowledge of CET and PSET.
Knowledge of PSA and PSR, 2016. Knowledge of PFMA and Departmental policies. Knowledge of Thusanang. Basic
knowledge of practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collate financial statistics. Basic
knowledge of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures, and Treasury Regulations (PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR,
PPPFA, Financial Manual). Knowledge of basic financial operating systems (ITS etc.). Computer skills, planning and
organizing, language, good verbal, and written communication. Basic numeracy skills, ability to perform routine tasks,

DUTIES: Coordinate student bursary schemes and financial aid administrative support services in the Campus. Administer
the bursary and financial aid schemes application processes for the campus in line with NSFAS guidelines, funder
MOU/SLA and policies. Review application for financial Aid. Analyse NSFAS provisionally funded students. Coordinate
the authorization of disbursement funds. Facilitate of other financial aid schemes i.e., WRSETA, HWSETA etc. Report on
all bursary and financial aid allocations to financial aid committee and other stakeholders. Supervise staff.

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV level 4 plus a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Must have
minimum of two years’ experience in ICT infrastructure, networks, Desktop and Operating systems. Experience with

Microsoft packages with include Office, Information Systems. Experience with supporting thin clients, communicate verbal
and written skills. Problem solving skills, collaborative, and excellent people skills, creative and analytical. Valid Driver’s
license.

DUTIES: Diagnose software and hardware problems, Desktop and printer management, support computers, printers, and
other hardware, computer installations, manage helpdesk issues, manage corporate Antivirus protection for all computers,
and provide support to all staff on IT-related problems. Track and prioritise ICT support calls and document the resolution.
Install, and configure new computers and other IT equipment. Identify problems and repair existing ICT equipment and
keep track of IT supplies and equipment. Provision for the measure and adherence of policies and standards.

POST/POSITION: SENIOR LECTURER – ENGINEERING STUDIES NCV&NATED)

NAME OF THE COMPONENT: ENGINEERING STUDIES NC(V)&NATED
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV level 4 plus a relevant Diploma / Degree or equivalent to REQV 13 qualification in
Mechanical Engineering. Three years of experience as a lecturer / teacher is a prerequisite. Lecturing / Teaching
experience in Mechanical subjects and Mechanical workshops will be an advantage. Excellent communication skill is
essential. SACE registration. Computer literacy is a prerequisite.

DUTIES: Assist with recruitment, registration, and induction of students. Facilitate general academic and career
development of students. Prepare and present lessons in compliance with the College's annual academic plan, the
Campus timetable and the College's Quality Management system.
Coordinate the procurement of the programme's training needs. Provide guidance on syllabi, curriculum, and learning
outcomes. Monitor and support lecturers teaching Engineering and Related Design NC (V) level 2 – 4 and Mechanical
Engineering workshops. Implement and monitor all policies that impact on learning delivery, including examination and
certification of students within the department. Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom
management and discipline of students. Liaise with the Lectures, Head of Department and Student Support Officers in
providing support interventions to students. Assess students, capture marks, analyse, interprete, effect appropriate
remedial action and maintain the necessary ICASS and ISAT records. Facilitate the distribution of textbooks and student
packs. Manage and monitor staff and student attendance. Manage and facilitate Students Work Based Experience as well
as Lectures work place integrated learning. Ensure the smooth running of the department and submit regular reports to
the HoD.

communication skills. Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality. Social perceptiveness and an understanding of body
language. Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills.

DUTIES: Provide career guidance and testing of prospective students (in collaboration with the registration unit). Provide
academic and individual counselling sessions to students. Coordinate and provide career exhibition services. Implement
programme to coach, mentor, and develop student job readiness. Teaches a variety of skills including social skills, study
skills, and test-taking skills. Listening to students’ academic, emotional, social, personal, and behavioural concerns in an
open and non-judgemental way. Working directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals. Assisting
with conflict mediation and resolution between students, students and lecturers, or parents and lecturers to ensure

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV level 4 plus a recognized three (3) year National Diploma in Financial Management
(NQF level 6). 1-2 years’ experience in financial environment / bursary environment. Knowledge of CET and PSET.
Knowledge of PSA and PSR, 2016. Knowledge of PFMA and Departmental policies. Knowledge of Thusanang. Basic
knowledge of practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collate financial statistics. Basic
knowledge of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures, and Treasury Regulations (PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR,
PPPFA, Financial Manual). Knowledge of basic financial operating systems (ITS etc.). Computer skills, planning and
organizing, language, good verbal, and written communication. Basic numeracy skills, ability to perform routine tasks,
ability to operate office equipment, flexibility, interpersonal relations, accuracy, and aptitudes of figures.

DUTIES: Coordinate student bursary schemes and financial aid administrative support services in the Campus.
Administer the bursary and financial aid schemes application processes for the campus in line with NSFAS guidelines,
funder MOU/SLA and policies. Review application for financial Aid. Analyse NSFAS provisionally funded students.
Coordinate the authorization of disbursement funds. Facilitate of other financial aid schemes i.e., WRSETA, HWSETA
etc. Report on all bursary and financial aid allocations to financial aid committee and other stakeholders. Supervise staff.

POST/POSITION: IT TECHNICIAN X 2

NAME COMPONENT: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV Level 4 Certificate plus a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
Must have minimum of two years’ experience in ICT infrastructure, networks, Desktop and Operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft packages with include Office, Information Systems. Experience with supporting thin clients,
communicate verbal and written skills. Problem solving skills, collaborative, and excellent people skills, creative and
analytical. Valid Driver’s license.

DUTIES: Diagnose software and hardware problems, Desktop and printer management, support computers, printers,
and other hardware, computer installations, manage helpdesk issues, manage corporate Antivirus protection for all
computers, and provide support to all staff on IT-related problems. Track and prioritise ICT support calls and document
the resolution. Install, and configure new computers and other IT equipment. Identify problems and repair existing ICT

equipment and keep track of IT supplies and equipment. Provision for the measure and adherence of policies and
standards.

DUTIES: Counselling and academic as well as non-academic support, Job Placement, Study support, which includes
assistance to students with study methods, examination preparation and time management, Induction, which includes
introducing new students to the campus, programmes and activities, Job-hunting skills, such as how to develop a good
CV and interview coaching, Information and support on HIV and Aids-related matters, Fully equipped computer labs (for
extra practical time), Counselling and referrals to other professionals, A Youth Advisory Centre and Support activities,
Strategic planning sessions (all 55 members of the SRC meet each other to draft a plan for the whole year and submit to
the Student Support Service Manager), Sport and cultural activities (all 4 campuses meet and elect college Squads), Open

Assistant / Marketing Management or equivalent qualification. 2-3 years working experience in the Teaching and Learning
environment/related field. Knowledge and understating of the Higher Education sector. Knowledge and understanding of
student registration and examination systems for ministerial and/or occupational programmes. Sound knowledge of
legislation regulating examinations and assessments, including ICASS, ISAT, SETAs, Umalusi, and QCTO guidelines.
Knowledge of Instructions for the Conduct and Administration of Examinations on
TVET Programmes. Must be computer literate in Office packages (Ms Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). A valid
driver's license is a prerequisite.

DUTIES: Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Campus Manager, Heads of
Departments, Senior lecturers, Lecturers, students, parents, and support staff in the organisations. Managing the
examination preparation process. This includes preparing examination timetables for students and staff; ordering of
examination stationery; creating seating plans for each examination room; briefing candidates, staff, and parents,
receiving, checking, and securely storing confidential examination materials; administering internal assessment etc.
Updating examination related policies. Ensure overall supervision and establishment of the function of the Irregularity
Committee. Ensure the overall supervision and management of issuing the certificates. Ensure overall supervision and
proper administration of the examination services. Supervise human, physical, and financial resources.

POST/POSITION: CAREER GUIDANCE OFFICER (STUDENTS COUNSELLOR)

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV Level 4 Certificate plus a bachelor’s or associate degree in counselling. Minimum of
2 years professional counselling experience, preferably in an educational field. Experience with counselling, principles,
techniques, and practices as applied to students' problems and developmental needs. Excellent active listening and
communication skills. Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality. Social perceptiveness and an understanding of
body language. Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills.

DUTIES: Provide career guidance and testing of prospective students (in collaboration with the registration unit). Provide
academic and individual counselling sessions to students. Coordinate and provide career exhibition services. Implement
programme to coach, mentor, and develop student job readiness. Teaches a variety of skills including social skills, study
skills, and test-taking skills. Listening to students’ academic, emotional, social, personal, and behavioural concerns in an
open and non-judgemental way. Working directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals. Assisting
with conflict mediation and resolution between students, students and lecturers, or parents and lecturers to ensure
students’ goals are not disrupted. Providing one-on-one career guidance and skills assessment to assist with career
development. Helping students to prepare for admissions applications and tests. Providing students with materials related
to career of their choice or career counselling to suit their skills. Developing, monitoring, and assisting with counselling
programs.
