Rationale The goal of the K-12 curriculum is to holistically develop the
Filipino learners with 21st century skills in order to adapt and
face the life’s challenges brought about by the advancement of
technology. To be able to address the pressing need of the field
to come up with learning resources that are suited to the level
and experience of the learners amid COVID-19 pandemic. The
teachers must be capacitated on their knowledge on the
contextualized learning resources. Teachers must use authentic
materials, activities, interests, issues and needs from learners’
lives to develop instruction.
This is a three-day training workshop focused on
contextualization process. This will be attended by all teachers
and school heads of Javier II District. Face-to-face will be utilized
as platform for this three-day training observing social
distancing and health protocols.
Program/Training/Course Terminal Objective:
Objectives By the end of this program, the participants will be able to
make contextualized learning resources in all subjects.
Enabling Objectives:
1. Enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills in
contextualization.
2. Create a contextualized LR Hub for school use.
3. Boost teachers motivation and morale on coming up
with their contextualized learning resources.
4. Orient teachers and be familiarized with the technology
to guide teachers navigate on some technicalities in the
process of contextualization.
