TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF:

Good day. I am Jywhl. Thank you for giving me this chance. I am qualified for the position and can
fulfill it to the best of my ability given my skills and personality. I'm a person who wants to grow and
learn. I am a positive person who welcomes change at all times. I am an honor student since I was in
elementary up to senior high school. I was also on the dean's Lister when I was in my first year of
college. I joined public speaking when I was in Senior high school. However, as previously stated, I
was a consistent honor student, this proves that I am well-disciplined and responsible in my studies. I
believe that someone like me who is diligent, consistent, and focused will be useful and beneficial in
this job.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST STRENGTH?

My greatest strength is my responsible and disciplined approach to work. I am very responsible and
reliable, and I will accomplish all tasks on time to the standard expected. I am someone who takes on
difficult challenges and will always accept tasks that are outside of my comfort zone. If there are
problems outside and inside my classroom and in school, I will step up and help resolve them without
fuss.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST WEAKNESS?

My biggest weakness is that I find it challenging/difficult to ask for help from others. Growing up as a
only child I always believe that “you don’t always have an ally”. Because I take immense pride in
everything I do, when I encounter dilemmas I always want to take the time to figure and sort things out
for myself, however, I believe it would be effective to seek advice from others and for more
experienced or knowledgeable people to assist me in making progress in a situation or specific area.

CAN YOU DESCRIBE A SITUATION IN YOUR PAST WHERE YOU LEARNED FROM A
MISTAKE?
Personal: I was in a two-year relationship at the time when I learned and adapted to toxicity. We used
to argue over insignificant things, and I reached the point where I couldn't handle myself well. I
became emotionally and physically exhausted. And I recall having difficulty managing my time
between paper works and our relationship. However, I am 17 years old when that relationship started.
My mistake was that I was impatient to be in a relationship and became envious of what I saw on social
media. I used to believe that being in love was always perfect, but in reality, it never is. My takeaways
from this situation are to not let your emotions rule you, and to not rush after something because
whatever is for you, will never walk pass by you.

Professional:
When I was in eighth grade, I was not yet familiar with the term plagiarism. Before that, I enjoyed
writing essays, and whenever I did, I always looked up ideas on Google. Because I always want a high
score, I was very certain of what I wrote each time. However, there was a period of time when I felt
under pressure due to the amount of schoolwork and the high standards I set for myself. I felt like I was
falling behind because I had many rivals and my classmates were naturally intelligent. And I felt like I
was always running after something.
So I decided to copy and paste from google like what my classmates did. But the teacher got
disappointed and scolded us. And I am one of the students who got a low grade in English. Being the
first honor at the time, I was afraid of failing. A first honor who plagiarized her essay. What a shame.
However, as a result of that circumstance, I discovered how to effectively manage my time so that I
won't experience stress whenever my schoolwork has same deadline and not to decide plagiarized
others work ever again. Additionally, failure and mistakes are acceptable as long as you always keep
in mind that you learned from them.
Also, not let your emotions rule you, and to not rush after something because whatever is for you, will
never walked pass by you.
WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT SITUATION YOU HAVE EVER FACED?
At the height of the Covid Virus pandemic was the most challenging situation I've ever encountered. At
the time, I was prepared to go to college; everything was planned, but the pandemic destroyed all of my
desperate hope. When the start of classes got closer, the public college where I had enrolled called me
through phone and informed me that there was no space left. My mother was angry and
disappointed with me because I was so certain that time that I would study there. Sadly, despite
enrolling early, I still had no slots. I actually remember that when I went to that school to see and try to
convince them if there was a slot available, but they simply advised me to change my course.
However, there is this one school that I saw on my Facebook feed and I try to enroll there. And luckily,
I was enrolled easily and even the online transaction was very fast. I took the course that I wanted and
until now I am still learning and growing through them. My takeaway is that not all things are meant to
be but everything is worth a try. At least I tried to convince them even without assurance because I
know that there is so much power in trying. Sincerely, I find it impossible to accept a defeat without
making any effort.

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF?

In most two years of online classes, every time I see people, I get very anxious. Speaking in front of
others is not something I am very used to, unlike in high school. I, therefore, want to get better at
public speaking, especially now that we have face-to-face classes. However, I speak up on my own
initiative when we have reporting or occasionally during recitation to improve that certain weakness of
mine. In order to boost my self-confidence and the way I speak, I also read a self-help book every time
I have extra time.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN A JOB?
I'm looking for a job where I can use the abilities and traits I've developed throughout my years of
study. And a job where I can collaborate with intelligent people and approachable coworkers. That are
the two things I am looking for in a job because that's will make my work and environment nice and
effective. And with that qualities, I assure you that I will continually grow, advance, innovate, and
succeed along with my co-workers and students.

WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER GOALS?

I want to accomplish a number of goals. Being an expert in my field of expertise is one of my
professional objectives. Next, I want to develop a lasting relationship with your university and
eventually advance in my career. My third career goal is to widen my professional network because I
believe those around me will support me in achieving my career goals. I am not just simply teaching
and doing the bare minimum, I am a go-to person and ultimately do my best because I know that you
will help me to grow professionally and personally. I am hungry to learn more day by day from my
students and my co-workers.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

I am motivated to accomplish work on time and to a high standard. It serves as a great motivator for me
because I feel that everything is done correctly and exactly as it should be, and this will inspire my
coworkers to do the same as well. And most of all the failures and challenges I faced. I believe I am my
best at work when I see those challenges/failures as inspiration for continuous learning and
improvement.

WHY WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK FOR US?

I want to work with your organization because I see this opportunity as a win-win situation, where I
can contribute my abilities, skills, empathy, and expertise and where you will help me grow
professionally. I see this as a great chance for me to flourish in a supportive work environment. You
not only have a good reputation, but you are also regarded as the most proficient and
competent university. I believe that working here will be exciting and will enable me to be my best
version of myself.

WHY WE SHOULD HIRE YOU?

You should hire me because I will add value and dedication to students' education, motivation to study,
and school in order to transform it into a great learning environment. I am a very optimistic person who
wants to succeed. I am a self-starter who can be trusted to complete tasks efficiently, diligently, and on
time. I will bring a positive attitude to every situation that will affect on my coworkers, and I will
always take charge and be responsible of my own personal and professional mistakes. You should also
hire me because I know that despite my weaknesses and failures, I am ready and capable of teaching
students in the best way I can. I don't look my failures as regrets or loss of function because I believe
that everything is a learning experience.

WHY DO YOU WANT THIS JOB?

I want this job because I knew to myself that this is my calling. This is what I am passionate about and
I see my long career in this job. This maybe be a cliché but I want to say once again, that I am not just
to teach but to inspire.

HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF FIVE YEARS FROM NOW?

I see myself hopefully working and teaching or having gained advancement to a higher level. In 5
years, I would have also developed and more improved professionally and personally, and be seen as a
trusted, inspiring, and reliable teacher.

HOW OTHER PEOPLE DESCRIBE YOU?

My friends have often described me as a driven and responsible person. A person you can always turn
to when things get tough or whenever you need help. They also describe me as a positive individual
because I always accept everything and fail when I do.
