Project 1: ‘Computerized Taxonomic database on Indian Flora’
The information regarding Taxonomy is published on CD-ROM that is useful in the
areas of Science, Education and Research. The goal of this effort is to produce a
computerized database that includes the names of all accepted Vascular Plants in India,
along with their Synonyms.

Project 2: ‘Glimpses of Vascular Plants of India’ is published in the form of a book.


The salient features of this project are – Phylogeny and origin of plants, Origin of
cultivated plants, Economically and Medicinally important plants, Ornamental plants
etc. The book with simpler language would render its efficiency in the fields of
education for students.

Job Duties:
My work involved Collection of Information, Analysis, Design and
Development of Database, writing botanical data, interaction and co-ordination with
various groups and people associated with the project and some administrative duties.
