Epoxy Resins

EPOSIR® / EPONAC®
With more than 80 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of
high quality materials, SIR INDUSTRIALE Spa simply knows how to find the
best solution for your specific needs.

Epoxy resins (EPOSIR® and EPONAC®) represent a class of very versatile

thermosetting products thanks to their outstanding chemical-physical
characteristics.
These properties can be summarized as follows:

• Wide range of viscosity provides excellent application ductility

• High reactivity allows good hardening at low temperatures
• Enhanced mechanical properties
• Good thermal resistance
• Excellent resistance to chemical agents
• High dielectric strength
• Minimum shrinkage of hardened products
• Strong adhesive power on various substrates

As result, epoxy resins can be used in the following application sectors:

• Building industry
• Electronics/Electro-technics
• Foundry
• Reinforced plastics
• Composite materials
• Paints
