The Center Administrator’s Message
Greetings!
It is with great pride and pleasure that I share with
you the highlights of TESDA Provincial Training
Center - Misamis Oriental’s Annual Report for the
year 2022 with the theme "Empowering
Communities through Skills: Transforming Lives,
Building Futures“. Our center, established in 2020
and inaugurated in 2021, has made significant
strides in expanding and strengthening the
mandate of TESDA in providing Technical-
Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
programs and services to underserved clienteles
in Misamis Oriental and nearby towns.
We are proud to report that we have 761 enrolled
and 754 graduated individuals, equipping them
with valuable skills for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. Of
these, 236 were from our institution-based training programs and 525 from
our community-based training programs, which includes the ten (10) PRLEC-
identified barangays.
In addition, our assessment and certification program have assessed 181
skilled workers, with 165 individuals receiving certification. Furthermore, we
have strengthened our partnerships and linkages with various industries such
as construction, agriculture, health, land transport, and social sectors, forging
Memoranda of Agreement with five (5) partners.
I extend my deepest appreciation to our partners, stakeholders, co-TESDAns
and training center personnel for their unwavering support and dedication.
Together, we will continue to strive towards our mission of providing high-
quality TVET programs and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our
beneficiaries and the communities we serve.

EXPANDING PERSPECTIVES The Agrostudies Israel Experience
Ms. Nerilyn L. Jala, a trainer in
agriculture from PTC-MisOr,
completed the Agrostudies program
in Israel. From December 2021 to
October 2022, she gained hands-on
experience in flower farming and
learned about various aspects of
modern agricultural practices,
including irrigation systems, plant
nutrition, pest control, and
greenhouse management.

Her participation in the Agrostudies

program is part of the partnership
between the Philippines and Israel to
promote sustainable agriculture and
food security. The program provides
TESDA trainers with an opportunity to
undergo comprehensive training in
modern farming techniques and
technologies, which they can apply in
their work and share with their
trainees.
