Part 1
After finishing the program of IBA I have three possible plans of my development. The first is to directly
start studying the master degree in RSM, probably Accounting, Finance or Strategic Management, after
graduating from which I shall have a kickoff of my professional career. The second only has a slight
difference, which is to study the graduate program in another European country, maybe the UK or
France or even Germany according to my career plan at that very time. The third alternative is least
likely to be adopted, but still stands a chance. Because of the policy of the Netherlands that’s quite
immigration friendly, I might start working for a couple of years right after completing the
undergraduate program in order to gain the eligibility to acquire the Dutch permanent residence and
even the nationality (due to political reasons concerning the fact that my home country might growing
more and more politically intolerant). So I can say that, after graduation, I wanna be a master student or
a young professional. After determining who I want to be, I can set an expectation on how others will
describe me, which is, on a personal level, an eager and conscientious man; and on professional level, a
reliable and popular co-worker. My key driving values for setting up these goals are various. First, I
aspire to be trustworthy, not only because I hope others can be benefited from my own actions, but also
that it can fulfill my personal demand to be needed. Second, I set my aims based on one thing that I
want to stay in the Netherlands or Europe for my career because I adore a society that is open and free
instead of a country with an oppressive political atmosphere like where I come from. I basically obtain
these values from my grandfather who I particularly look up to. He started his factory and company from
no one, entirely though his personal hard work and great skill of networking, which are significant traits
of successful people.

Overall Score
For my overall scoring, as for the aspects of relationship and task, my scoring is merely a very tiny bit
above the score range of 70% of the students. As for the analytical dimension, my scoring is close to the
mean of the 70% students’ score range. And for the dimension of impact, my scoring is near the
maximum of the 70% students’ range. In fact, I think the result is quite novel for me compared to my
previous cognition of myself. My scoring in the dimension of relationship is relatively low, which is out of
my expectation, because I regard myself as a person who is good at socializing, networking and getting
acquainted with more people. However, I found out that my capability of dealing with relationship is not
outstanding among my peers. The cause of this lies in the sub dimensions of relationship. My level of
engagement is a little below the average score, while my social proactivity and compassion s just around
the median of the score range. What’s a bit abnormal is my emotional exhaustion, which fluctuates at a
very large scale, from much below average to above average, making it the main contributing factor to
my scoring. Considering comprehensively about the overall scoring, several indications can be
interpreted in order to improve myself. First is that, though I’m not incapable to handle my relationship
issues, I should definitely give more engagement, and devote more time and truthfulness into people I
want to get to know. Second is my ability to accomplish tasks is in an urgent need to be promoted, both
my skills and my mindset towards mission completion. Third is my analytical ability, whose scoring is
above average and should be, in a way, maintained and further refined considering the sub-dimensions.
Fourth is my desire and ability to impact other people, from which I can procure the introspection that I
should somewhat retain my motivation to put impact on others, while I really ought to enrich my
competency to make a difference on others’ mind, otherwise mere will can make no contribution.
High Scores
Compared to the scoring range of 70% of the students, it can be observed that the following sub-
dimensions are highly scored: extraversion, agreeableness, planning, stress, performance prove
orientation (PPGO), performance avoid goal orientation (PAGO), emotional stability, social proactivity,
and compassion. Amidst these positive traits, I would select agreeableness (belonging to dimension of
relationship), stress (belonging to tasks) and emotional stability (belonging to analytical dimension) as
my strongest traits to analyze. I’m not surprised at the result because it vividly reflects the way I cope
with missions and interact with people. Although stress sounds like a harmful word, but in a way it can
also make a positive impact on my life and study, therefore the aforementioned traits can all play a
contributing role. Agreeableness is.a vital factor of my socialization, since it reduces the possibility of me
getting into conflicts of ideas, helps to avoid disagreement and abridges the gap between me and people
having distinct characteristics. For example, when I played as the central back in my football team, I
tended to agree with the tactics suggested by players from other positions as I tried not to arouse any
disharmony within the team and fulfill the maximal interest of the whole team. Stress is also an
important factor to consider, on the one hand it motivates or forces me to study harder, on the other
hand to much stress can damage my physical and mental health. As for emotional stability, it helps me
to stay focused when a significant incident takes place like a contest or an exam.
Low Scores
In comparison with the 70% students’ score range, among the 16 sub-dimensions, the following ones
can be classified low scores: core-self evaluation, trust and authenticity, conscientiousness, learning goal
orientation (LGO), open-mindedness, creativity, critical thinking, engagement and emotional exhaustion.
I’d choose creativity to analyze. I’m prone to opt for the conservative or traditional way when
confronted with important issues for maximizing the chance of mistake evasion. When I was in the
tenure of presidency of the Model United Nation club in my high school, due to my fear of maki g errors,
I followed the steps of my predecessors cautiously. But after the outbreak of the corona virus, most
conferences were transformed online, giving MUN societies enormous challenge to make reformations
to get adapted, my society especially underwent a long and difficult process to be fully oriented to the
new circumstance.
