COURSE TITLE: Ethics


COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Ethics deals with principles of ethical behavior in modern society at the level of the person, society, and in interaction with the environment and other shared resources. (CMO
20s2013)
Morality pertains to the standards of right and wrong that an individual originally picks up from the community. The course discusses the context and principles of ethical behavior in
modern society at the level of individual, society, and in interaction with the environment and other shared resources. The course also teaches students to make moral decisions by
using dominant moral frameworks and by applying a seven-step moral reasoning model to analyze and solve moral dilemmas.

The course is organized according to the three (3) main elements of the moral experience: (a) agent, including context-cultural, communal, and environment; (b) the act, and (c)
reason of framework (for the act).
This course includes the mandatory topic on taxation.

PROGRAM GOAL:
Operations Management
1. Prepares students to manage the operations of manufacturing agri-business, as well as enterprises, focusing on the need to effectively and efficiently produce and deliver produc

The program curriculum covers all aspects of operations within the organization , including the management of purchases, inventory, production and service quality, logistics, supply chain

1. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice.
2. Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino.
3. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
4. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.
5. Preserve and promote “Filipino Historical and Cultural Heritage.”
6. Perform the basic functions of management such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.
7. Apply the basic concepts that underlie each of the functional areas of business (Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, production and Operations Managem
Strategic Management) and employ these concepts in various business situations.
8. Select the proper decision making tools to critically, analytically, and creatively solve problems and drive result.
9. Express oneself clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders both in oral and written forms.
10. Apply information and communication technology (ICT) skills as required by the business environment.
11. Analyze the business environment for strategic direction.
12. Prepare operational plans.
13. Conduct business research.
14. Participate in various types of employment, development activities, and public discourses particularly in response to the needs of the communities one serves.
