1. What are the principles, and practices, concepts, underlying learners centeredness?
the roles of the learner centered teaching is more that of a coach than a person with all the
answers. The focus is on both the instructor and students. Learning occurs through the process
of interaction between the instructor and students and among the students. A perspective that
centralize learning to the students rather than to the teachers. Learners holds responsble for
their learning while teachers are responsible for facilitating them. Teachers should .....select
context that are more inclined to the needs of the students that will help them adapt and
survive to the ever-changing society. It should more practical and realistic than idealistic. and
theoretical.Teachers should.....share the responsibilties in the classroom to his/her students
such as decision-making, school activities, etc. Allowing them to have supervised freedom will
break down barreir that divides the students and teachers. Teachers should.....stop acting as
the sole source of learning, rather, become a facilitator of learning. A teacher that let his/her
students do self-discovery. Teacher should act less while letting students explore and gain
experiences.Sources
