Aj - goodmorning everyone, we are group 5 and we are going to report all about typhoon

egay, and we are the reporters of this topic. im aldred john colis and here are my group
members

Aj - alam naman natin na lahat tayo natamaan ng bagyo nato marami satin nakaranas ng
pag baha dahil dito hindi tayo nakalabas at naundlot ang full face to face ng ating klase.
ibabahagi namin sainyo kung paano isimula at bumangon mula sa lakas ng bagyong egay.

Mayven - Typhoon Egay (international name: Doksuri) was a powerful, deadly, and
destructive tropical cyclone that affected the Philippines, Taiwan, and China in late July
2023.

Steven - The fifth named storm and third typhoon of the 2023 Pacific typhoon season,
Doksuri started as a low-pressure area in the Philippines, far off the coast of Mindanao. It
rapidly intensified over the Philippine Sea, reaching super typhoon status on July 23.

John loyld – Flooding, Heavy rains caused widespread flooding in Northern Luzon. The
Cagayan River overflowed its banks, inundating several towns and villages.

Matthew - Wind damage, Strong winds caused damage to homes, businesses, and in
frastracture. Power lines were downed telecomunication were distrupted.

Cholo – Landslides, Landslides occurred in several areas, burying homes and vehicles.

Mark – Response, The government of the Philippines declared a state of national calamity
in response to Typhoon Egay. The national government and local governments provided
relief to the affected areas, including food, water, shelter, and medical assistance.

Louise – In Conclusion, Typhoon Egay was a reminder of the vulnerability of the


Philippines to tropical cyclones. The Philippines is located in the typhoon belt, and it is hit
by an average of 20 typhoons every year. The government of the Philippines is working to
improve its disaster preparedness and response capabilities, in order to reduce the impact
of future typhoons.
