Enhanced Workflow
Featuring an exceptionally robust table, AXIOM Luminos TF allows you to easily conduct examinations on both pediatric and bariatric patients quickly and comfortably. Fully dynamic table movements at 500 lbs The table supports full dynamic tilt functionality and 8-way tabletop movement for patients weighing up to 500 lbs, also providing easy access for bariatric patients. In static mode, the table can even accommodate patients weighing up to 600 lbs.
Generous architecture With its open design, AXIOM Luminos TF enables convenient patient movement during examinations. The distance between table and digital imaging tower measures a spacious 21 for comfortable repositioning of larger patients. High performance for uninterrupted workflow The system is equipped with a powerful and robust X-ray tube to enable high tissue penetration for imaging bariatric patients. Siemens tube technology allows for successive exposures of larger patients without delays caused by X-ray tube overheating.
As the obesity epidemic in this country continues, our need for fluoroscopy systems that can handle larger patients increases. The new AXIOM Luminos TF will allow physicians to image larger patients who might otherwise be turned away or forced to stand for a study because of their weight.
Mary Ann Turner, MD, Professor and Director, Gastrointestinal Radiology, VCU Medical Center/ Medical College of Virginia
With its open architecture, AXIOM Luminos TF enables comfortable repositioning of larger patients
Featuring a wide tabletop and dynamic weight load of up to 500 lbs (230 kg), AXIOM Luminos TF can accommodate patients of virtually all sizes
Enhanced Workflow
The integrated OPTI Grip of AXIOM Luminos TF lets you handle the digital imaging tower with greater comfort and maneuverability
Working with AXIOM Luminos TF is remarkably convenient and efficient. The operator controls are within easy reach during the procedure. Equipped with the mobile Flat Detector* (mFD), AXIOM Luminos TF can also be used as a fully digital radiography system. Tableside user interface To save time, the tableside user interface showcases a bilateral set of key operating functions such as generator, imaging and fluoroscopy parameters directly by your side for easy access of these controls.
Easy single-handed operation Positioning the digital imaging tower with the ergonomically shaped, freely rotating OPTI Grip handle is quick and easy for both right- and left-handed users. No need to leave the patient Located within easy reach, the OPTI Touch display provides continuous updates of all examination parameters, and features a touch screen, allowing you to conveniently select organ programs and control radiographic parameters.

Twice the utilization with the mFD AXIOM Luminos TF can also be expanded with the mFD*, a ceiling-mounted tube* and Bucky wall stand* and used as a fully digital radiography solution. You thereby expand the utilization of your fluoroscopy room. Fully digital workflow Data transfer and archiving within HIS, RIS and PACS networks is simple and easy. Images are available within seconds for review, saving you lots of time and space. No more film or CR cassette handling! All images in one patient folder Digitally acquired radiographic and fluoroscopic images can all be placed in a single patient folder. No more image merging on the PACS network!

DDO (Digital Density Optimization) improves image contrast for critical regions by further enhancing detail recognition
Imaging Excellence
AXIOM Luminos TF delivers fluoroscopic images of outstanding quality to support your diagnoses. Additional imaging functions further enhance your imaging capabilities. Accelerated image data management FLUOROSPOT Compact, a high-resolution digital imaging system, enables single and serial acquisitions in a 1k x 1k matrix for dynamic review. Advanced post-processing functionalities are also available to further enhance image quality all on one imaging station. Improved detail transparency with DDO* and SDM With DDO* (Dynamic Density Optimization), images with high density contrast are adjusted to provide greater harmonization and detail recognition. SDM (Selective Dominant Measurement) helps to further optimize exposure quality, even when the region of interest is not at the center, thereby helping to reduce retakes. Extensive radiation reduction AXIOM Luminos TF incorporates the comprehensive radiation reduction program CARE, which is designed to provide exposure levels that are as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) while maintaining a high level of diagnostic image quality.
The CARE features include: CAREMATIC automatic exposure parameter adjustment Automatically calculates and optimizes exposure parameters based on fluoroscopic values CAREFILTER fully motorized copper prefiltration Reduces skin entrance dose by optimizing copper prefiltration selection CAREVISION* extended pulse frequency reductions Dose savings with lower pulse frequencies of 15, 7.5 and 3 p/s, depending on object and organ movement CAREMAX** dose-area product measuring device Chamber integrated into the collimator for dose measurement and monitoring CAREPROFILE* radiation-free collimation Radiation-free collimator positioning using the graphic markings on the last image hold (LIH) CAREPOSITION* dose-free patient positioning Quick, precise patient positioning without the use of additional radiation Fluoro Loop* fluoroscopy sequence storage Dose-saving diagnoses (e.g. for pediatrics) using stored fluoroscopy sequences instead of serial acquisitions
* Option ** Standard with fluoroscopy table tube, optional with ceiling-mounted tube
Imaging Excellence
When you combine AXIOM Luminos TF with the mFD*, you also have a fully digital radiography solution. A fast, efficient and user-friendly solution, extremely flexible in its utilization possibilities. Freely positioned just like a cassette Mobile and easy to handle, the mFD is quickly positioned wherever its needed. The 14 x 17 detector (35 cm x 43 cm) provides excellent coverage. Use it in the Bucky tray of the table or the wall stand; also for free exposures such as standing feet, lateral projections or patients in wheelchairs. The mFD offers you many imaging options all with a single detector. High detail recognition for accurate diagnoses Its high-resolution images are available for review within seconds after exposure. If necessary, images can be processed instantly for optimal clarity, thus virtually eliminating the need for retakes. Film and CR cassettes are a thing of the past! Enhanced versatility for greater efficiency AXIOM Luminos TF with the mFD not only expands your system capabilities, but also your fluoroscopy room utilization thereby further improving your workflow efficiency.
