people and places, can be observed,
historical and 100% true. Opinion refers to
one’s feeling, thought, belief or judgement
that is not 100% true and cannot be
proven. . When you state a fact or an
opinion, one needs to support such claim
with evidence. This may include
observations, experiences or conclusion
based on experiments or studies.

2. For me, collecting plants is fun. Which
statement is a fact? Which is an opinion? - Sentence number 1 is a fact.
You are right! sentence number 1 is an
example of a (FACT) - Sentence number 2 is an opinion
While sentence number 2 is an example of
an opinion.
Example:
The sun is a center of the solar system.
It is a fact. We can prove it through scientific
data and other references.

Wow kids! You did a great job! I will ask you - FACT Ma’am!
again. What is an opinion and what is a fact?
Very good! Always remember that fact can
beproven. It is mostly historical, includes dates,
time and scientific data. While oinion is just a
belief. It cannot be prove because there is no
concrete evidence.
