"A RESOLUTION TO CONDUCT THE NATIONAL OBSERVANCE OF THE

FILIPINO VALUES MONTH CELEBRATION ON NOVEMBER 2022 AT
FLORITA HERRERA IRIZARI NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL SY. 2022-2023 "

WHEREAS, SSG Constitution and By-Laws, Article VII, Section 2.2 states that, the
SSG's function and responsibility is to support and promote the ideals, principles,
thrusts, and objectives of the SSG, the School, and the Department of Education;
WHEREAS, Division Memo No. 629, s. 2022 reiterates and reactivates the National
Observance of the Filipino Values Month in November of every year pursuant to
DepEd Memorandum No. 177, s. 2017 dated October 31, 2017, DepEd order No.
25, s. 2017 dated May 5, 2017 Presidential Proclamation No. 479 dated October 24,
1994, Section 2, Paragraph 3) RA No. 10533 and Regional Memorandum No. 415,
s. 2017
WHEREAS, the EsP (Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao) Club of Florita Herrera Irizari
National High School in partnership with FHINHS Team SSG, Science Club, &
SDDRM Club will conduct the National Observance of the Filipino Values Month,
November 2 — 29, 2022;
WHEREAS, this is a month-long celebration which aims to strengthen the Filipino
culture, values, and ideals that are Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Makakalikasan, at
Makabansa, to mobilize all Florinians for nation-building through the practical
exercise of Filipino values in daily lives as citizens, to awaken the students to the
power of these values and ideals in achieving the individual and national goals, and
appreciate human generosity;
WHEREAS, during the National Observance of the Filipino Values Month, various
activities, events, and programs will be organized to promote and raise awareness
about the core values of the Filipino people, such as but not limited to: Outreach
Program (Values Formation and Feeding Program) at Habag Elementary School
(kindergarten pupils), Values Formation Lecture: Core Values – PSMS Zeboim P
Genoring, Parade of Filipino Values (by section), Bible Quiz Trivia every Flag
Ceremony, Daily Bible Verse Reflection Journal, Poster Making Contest, Worship
Songs Contest, Paint Me, & Clean-up Drive;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED on the
motion of ESP Club Vice President Johanna Mea A. Quesaba and duly seconded by
the members in attendance, the EsP Club in partnership with FHINHS Team SSG,
Science Club, & SDRRM Club will conduct the National Observance of the Filipino
Values Month Celebration in November 2022 at Florita Herrera Irizari National High
School.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT, FHINHS’ students are encouraged to attend and
participate in the National Observance of the Filipino Values Month Celebration
2022.
RESOLVED FINALLY, to present copies of this resolution to the teacher advisers
and the school principal's office for their information, counsel, and necessary action.
Unanimously approved October 13, 2022.

Proceedings:
1. The meeting was called to order at 4:00 PM by Johanna Mea Quesaba, ESP Club
Vice President. Consequently, Jesa Crizna Cubero, EsP Treasurer led the opening
prayer, followed by the checking of attendance by Meliza C. Ariate, EsP Club
Secretary.
2. The EsP Club President, Laveña F. Rurac humbly led the discussion on this
month-long celebration of the National Observance of the Filipino Values Month
2022.
The EsP Club officers decided the following timeline, activities, and programs for
the upcoming celebration:
• Launching of The Observance of the Filipino Values Month 2022 will be on
November 2, 2022.
- Launching of The Observance of the Filipino Values Month 2022 cum Science
Month.
- Activities: Parade of Filipino Values; Values Formation Lecture: Core Values -
PSMS Zeboim P Genoring; Paint Me; Woship Song; Poster Making; & Trashion
Show.
• FHINHS' ESP Club Advocacy
- Outreach Program ( Values Formation and Feeding Program) on November 2,
2022.
• Month-long activities:
- Daily Bible Verse Reflection Journal ( Posted at EsP Club Bulletin Board );
- Bible Quiz Trivia every Flag Ceremony
• Culmination of The Observance of the Filipino Values Month 2022 will be on
November 29, 2022.
- Clean-Up Drive in partnership with School Disaster Risk Reduction Managament
(SDDRM) Club.
- Awarding of The Most Disciplined Students of FHINHS ( by grade level ) ; Best
Bible Verse Reflection Journal ( by grade level )
3. The EsP club president then facilitated the planning for the outreach program for
kindergarten pupils and the officers decided to hold the said program in Habag
Elementary School, Habag, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur.
4. The officers then had a discussion on income generating ideas. Some of the EsP
Club Officers suggested to sell pens and peanuts with Bible Verse, while Lyziah
Queen E. Aba-a, EsP Club Muse suggested to sell cookies that will be titled
"Fortune Cookies" that has Bible Verse on its liner. The EsP Club Officers agreed to
the said product and decided to cover up the capital for the "Fortune Cookies".
5. Johanna Mea A. Quesaba, EsP Club Vice President assigned committees to the
officers to facilitate the above-mentioned activities.
6. The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 PM by the EsP club president.
