SCHOOL MEMORANDUM

TO : ALL TEACHERS
1. Conformably to DepEd Order No. 68, s. 2019 which is Revitalizing the Boy and Girl
Scouting Movement in school and in consonance with the observance of Scouting
Month and in line with the Development of youth leadership, values formation,
proactive involvement in nation building, Alicaocao Elementary School will conduct
the 1st School- Based Camping 2024 at Alicaocao, Cauayan City on February 6-7,
2024.
6. A minimal registration fee of P50.00 for BSP, GSP, STAR, KAWAN, KID and
Twinklers shall be collected to defray expenses for the program preparation,
certificates, and other operational and incidental expenses.
7. Kawan, Star, KID and Twinklers Palabas shall be held on February 6, 2024 at
exactly 1:00 PM at Alicaocao Community Center.
8. First and Final canvassing for KID, TWINKLER, KAWAN, STAR, BSP and GSP search
for the most popular scouts will be on February 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM. A baseline of
P200 shall be collected from each candidate as initial entry. All classes are invited to
participate.
9. Sharing of proceeds will be dead money. Proceeds of the Search for Most Popular
scouts will be used for purchasing tents for BSP and GSP..
10. All troop leaders are advised to attend the opening program in their type “A”
uniforms.
11. All BSP and GSP Troops shall present their yell during the opening and closing
programs respectively.
12. The Scout Promise and Law is the “law” of the camp.
13. The support and cooperation of all concern is earnestly enjoined to ensure
successful and meaningful camping.

Awarding
1. The Scout Law is the law of the camp. The scout law is composed of 12 points.
These remind us of what we be in the camp.
2. Follow the program of the activities.
3. Adhere to the conduct of good manners, discipline and sportsmanship.
4. “Time is Gold”. Observe promptness and punctuality at all times.
5. Observe cleanliness and orderliness in the camp.
6. “vandalism” of any form is strictly prohibited.
7. Loitering inside and outside the campsite is not allowed at all times especially
during the activity period.
8. Intoxication and gambling are TABOO in the camp.
9. No scouters and scouts are allowed to leave the camp without permission
from the camp official/ staff.
10. No Troop Leaders and scout are allowed to leave the camp without permission
from the camp official/ staff.
11. Every troop leader is responsible for safety and security of their respective scouts
and or layman.
12. Avoid heated argument, reach decision through dynamic and positive thinking.
13. No ringing of cellular phones during programs and activities.
14. Dismantling of tenets will begin only after the closing program.
15. Secure clearance (gate pass) from BSP/ GSP Coordinator before leaving the campsite.
