II. Rationale
Escalante National High School is committed to deliver quality education for the students. It
is one of the goals of the institution to continue provide effective and efficient alternative
classroom instruction in times of pandemic. In connection, teaching and non-teaching force of
ENHS are its asset to realize the goals for the clienteles. Today, teachers are challenged to pursue
quality education because of COVID-19 which is considered as a health-threat to the teachers as
well as to the learners and all the members of the community. As such, it is essential that the
physical and mental well-being of every individual are taken into considerations especially in the
education sector. Along this line, as the institution continues to look for the best techniques and
strategies in various distance learning modalities that it is offering, it is indeed necessary to
protect the health of the teaching and non-teaching force by doing physical activities which is
another avenue to fight against COVID-19. Thus, Human Resource Development in partnership
with the Project SHOUT (Strong and Healthy Organization Unites Together) of Escalante National
High School have been implementing various programs and projects to protect the health of the
teaching and non-teaching personnel for them to continue provide learners effective alternative
classroom instruction. With this, despite the health crisis that everyone is facing, the school itself
is still positive to attain its goals and aspirations for the learners.
III. Objectives:

1. To provide fitness gym equipment for the teaching and non-teaching personnel for
their physical and mental well-being;
2. To protect the health of the teaching and teaching force of ENHS in engaging
physical activities.
