GATE 2023 Syllabus for Electronics and Communication

GATE 2023 Syllabus for Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) - IIT Kanpur have released
the GATE syllabus 2023 for ECE at the official portal. The GATE 2023 syllabus was released along with
the brochure. Candidates can check the topic-wise GATE syllabus for ECE in this article. Candidates

GATE 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates should check the exam pattern of GATE to get a perfect idea about the exam, what type
of questions asked, what's the marking scheme of the paper, the duration of the exam, and a lot
more information about the exam. Candidates are strongly advised to check the GATE exam pattern
2023 thoroughly so that they can strengthen their preparation further. Given below is the detailed
exam pattern of the GATE ECE exam:

• The entrance test will be conducted in a completely online mode through Computer Based Test
mode.

• The total duration of the GATE exam will 3 hours (180 minutes).

• GATE exam for ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering) will consist of both Multiple
Choice Questions and Numerical Answer types.

• There will be a provision of negative marking for Multiple Choice Questions.
