− All standard weights listed above are typical average weight including carry-on
baggage. Check-in baggage must be weighed and included in the weight and
balance calculation.
− One piece of hand baggage suitable for placing in the closed overhead rack or under
the passenger's seat may be carried on board the aircraft; provided that such
maximum dimensions (the sum of the three outside dimensions) must not exceed
23cm x 36cm x 56cm and the weight of the bag must not exceed 7 KG. (Please refer
to the decision 854/TCT-DVTT)
− For loading non-standard weight groups, such as athletic or military squads and their
baggage, the actual weights for both passengers and baggage must be utilized.

indicated in the Supplementary Information (SI) column of the loadsheet by the load

Radioactive material type A package has category II yellow or category III yellow can be
stored in the ULD and loaded at the FWD or AFT hold. The minimum separation distance
from the top of the package to nearest inside surface of the floor of the aircraft cabin must
be determined in accordance with the below table:
Minimum distance

Forward cargo hold is devided into compartment 1 and compartment 2 which can load both
container and pallet.
AFT cargo hold is devided into compartment 3 and compartment 4. Both container and
pallet can be loaded at the AFT hold for the aircraft VNA141/2/7/9/50/51 because of large
door. Aircraft VNA143/4/5/6 can only load container at the AFT hold because of narrow
door.

WARNING:
− Do not operate the door in winds more than 40 knots.
− Do not let the door stay open in winds more than 65 knots. Injuries to persons or
damage to equipment can occur.
− Do not open the door when the aircraft is pressurized. Injuries to persons or damage
to equipment can occur.
CAUTION: Do not operate the door electrically more than 2 full open/close cycles within
5 minutes. Damage to the lift mechanism can occur.
The arc of opening/closing cargo compartment doors is lower than the operating sill

(1)These are the mechanical components that are manually operated during loading and
offloading of pallets and containers:
(2) The partial load stops give longitudinal restraint for containers when other containers
are not adjacent to it.
(3) The pallet locks and locks/stops give vertical and longitudinal restraint for pallets.
(4) The center guides in and adjacent to the ball panel area lock down to load and unload
pallets.
(5) The vertical restraints on the lateral guides turn to lock down pallets
BOEING 777 1.6 / P5
(a) Lift the stop head up until the pawl locks the stop head in the stop position.
(b) Hold the stop head while you pull up on the pawl to put the partial load stop in the
down position.
NOTE: The stop head will go down automatically when you lift the fork.
BOEING 777 1.6 / P6
(a) Lift the vertical restraint until the link locks the single pallet lock in the LOCK position.
Make sure that the link is at the end of the slot.
(b) Push the lower part of the link to the vertical position to put the single pallet lock in the

NOTE: The vertical restraint will go down automatically when you push the lower part of
the link to it.
BOEING 777 1.6 / P7
NOTE: The pallet locks are combinations of the single pallet lock and the double pallet
lock.
For operation of a single pallet lock, see the steps above.
(a) Lift the vertical restraints until the pawl locks the double pallet lock in the LOCK
position.
(b) Hold the vertical restraints up while you pull the top part of the pawl down to put the
double pallet lock in the DOWN position.
NOTE: The vertical restraints will go down automatically when you pull the top part of the
pawl away from them.

(a) Hold the vertical restraint while pulling on the top end of the pawl until the vertical
restraint retracts.
(b) Lift the vertical restraint until it locks in the vertical position.

NOTE: The stop/locks are combinations of the partial load stop and pallet lock.
(a) Lift the vertical restraint or stop head until the pawl or the link locks them in the UP
position.
(b) Do the same steps for the partial load stop and pallet lock to to put the stop/lock in the
DOWN position.
BOEING 777 1.6 / P10
(a) Push the manual release pedal down to lower the vertical restraint.
(b) Pull the vertical restraint up until it locks in the vertical position.

− In order to avoid the significant effect on the aircraft navigation system, Packages of
magnetized materials must be loaded not to exceed 2000 kg of magnets per aircraft.
VNA368 AFT No No
Radioactive material type A package has category II yellow or category III yellow can be
stored in the ULD and loaded at the FWD or AFT hold. The minimum separation distance
from the top of the package to nearest inside surface of the floor of the aircraft cabin must
be determined in accordance with the below table:
Minimum distance
Total sum of TI
Meters Ft.in
0.1 - 1.0 0.30 1’00”
1.1 - 2.0 0.50 1’08”
2.1 - 3.0 0.70 2’04”
3.1 - 4.0 0.85 2’10”
4.1 - 5.0 1.00 3’04”
5.1 - 6.0 1.15 3’10”
6.1 - 7.0 1.30 4’04”
7.1 - 8.0 1.45 4’09”
8.1 - 9.0 1.55 5’01”
9.1 - 10.0 1.65 5’05”
If the package of radioactive material can not use the distance separation from above table,
It can be devided into 2 or more packages. Each package must be separated to the other at
least 3 times of the higher transport index distance
