stressed the need for early
preparation of lesson plans,
particularly to allow opportunities
for lesson plans to be reviewed to

students and to enable the
application of effective teaching
strategies. This will also give me
the time I need to modify lesson
content to better meet student
needs, with my supervising

Rationale: The feedback I have

received from my supervising
teachers on my previous
practicums suggest I need to
remain vigilant of, and be
consistent with managing off-task
behaviour, as well as keeping track
of time to ensure the transitions
between lessons are orderly. I plan
to establish opportunities for me to
further develop my skills in this
area during my upcoming
placement.
Other aims you may have for this professional experience:
To engage professionally with parents and caregivers throughout my practicum, gathering related evidence to
show how I have developed suitable professional relationships. When reviewing my most recent EPT portfolio, I
noticed a gap in the collection of evidence regarding AITSL Standard 7.3. This will be due to the pandemic;
however, I understand it is essential to involve the broader school community in the education process for a
holistic approach to be maintained.
