HOMEWORK

I. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
● Topic : PEST Analysis
● Kind of work : Group work

II. EVIDENCE FOR LEARNING:

This work is about writing an external analysis. Find some issues and background about
the company where you work or worked. Then, make a chart about PEST analysis and
support each of the items described.

Este trabajo trata de escribir un análisis externo. Encuentra algunos temas y


antecedentes sobre la empresa donde trabajas o trabajabas. Luego, haga un cuadro
sobre el análisis PEST y respalde cada uno de los elementos descritos.

III. INSTRUCTIONS:
In a group of 4 people, they must do the following:

1. Organize your ideas and read all the material in the platform blackboard of the course
2. Write an introductory paragraph of the company you will analyze. The company must
be a company where one of the members of the group worked or work actually.
3. Make the PEST chart (include at least 4 elements for each factor) and group the
factors according to:

☑ Political environment, e.g. tariffs, trade deals, environmental policy etc.


☑ Economic, e.g. interest rates, exchange inflation, unemployment, gross domestic
product, etc.
☑ Social, e.g. demographics, population growth rates, age distribution, job market
trends.
☑ Technology, e.g. with the introduction of new products, new technologies and
services.

4. Each element of the factors must be explaining in paragraphs outside of the chart.
Make sure you justified them with the proper bibliography and APA.
5. Bibliography must include APA.
6. How to send your work:
Only one participant of the group must submit their work and must do so in the
following way:

⮚ Your work must be sent as a document Ms. Word (.doc).


⮚ Include this information:
T2_(subject)_GroupN°
Example: T2_English for business_Group1.
4. It must be considered: vocabulary (spelling), grammar (structures), organization
and coherence.
Remember: If a student copies information from another work, his/her final score must be
zero (0).
En un grupo de 4 personas, deben hacer lo siguiente:

1. Organiza tus ideas y lee todo el material en la pizarra de la plataforma del curso
2. Escribe un párrafo introductorio de la empresa que vas a analizar. La empresa debe ser
una empresa en la que uno de los miembros del grupo haya trabajado o trabaje
actualmente.
3. Haz el cuadro PEST (incluye al menos 4 elementos para cada factor) y agrupa los
factores de acuerdo a:

☑ Entorno político, p. aranceles, acuerdos comerciales, política medioambiental, etc.


☑ Económico, p. tasas de interés, inflación cambiaria, desempleo, producto interno bruto,
etc.
☑ Social, p. datos demográficos, tasas de crecimiento de la población, distribución por
edades, tendencias del mercado laboral.
☑ Tecnología, p. con la introducción de nuevos productos, nuevas tecnologías y servicios.

4. Cada elemento de los factores debe ser explicado en párrafos fuera del cuadro.
Asegúrate de justificarlos con la bibliografía adecuada y APA.
5. La bibliografía debe incluir APA.
6. Cómo enviar tu trabajo:
Solo un participante del grupo deberá presentar su trabajo y deberá hacerlo de la siguiente
manera:
