My First Speech
First time I did my speech was three days ago. It was short but it has a strong impression for me.
I was choosen as student representative to speak in front of everyone during the ceremony of the
Independence Day. I was very happy to do something like that. I carefully prepared everything what I was
going to say. On the due date, when my turn came, I was told to stand on the podium. I did my speech
with full of worry, and in the middle of my speech, I was feeling strange, I felt weak and blind. I fainted. My
speech was terribly ruined by myself because of my worry.
I was very disappointed to myself because I couldn’t control my emotion. It was the most embarrassing
experience ever for me.

Respiration
Human body gets oxygen from the air and removes carbon dioxide through the respiratory system.
The first phase of respiration is breathing in or inhalation. This process brings air from outside the body
into the lungs. From the lungs, the oxygen moves through blood vessels to the heart which then pumps
the oxygen-rich blood to all parts of the body. Oxygen then moves from the blood-stream into the cells,
which completes the first phase of respiration. In the cells, oxygen is used in a separate energy-producing
process which produces carbon dioxide as a byproduct.
The second phase of respiration begins when the carbon dioxide moves from the cells to the bloodstream
which carries carbon dioxide to the heart. Then, it pumps the carbon dioxide-laden blood to the lungs. In
the lungs, breathing out or exhalation removes carbon dioxide from the body, thus completing the
respiration cycle.

Veteran actor Didi Widiatmoko, popularly known as Didi Petet, passed away at the age of 58, at his
spacious residence in Sasak Tinggi, Ciputat, South Tangerang, on Friday morning. Didi’s niece Muthia
