SUBJECT : LD LEVEL FESTIVAL OF TALENTS CONTESTS

1. As provided in the Republic Act (RA) 10533, titled An Act Enhancing the Philippine Basic Education
System by Strengthening Its Curriculum, the Schools Division Office of Isabela through the Curriculum
Implementation Division (CID) will conduct the 2023 Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) with the
theme, Demonstrating Resiliency of Learners During the New Normal through Showcasing of Skills
and Talents in the Culture, and Technology on May 16, 2023, in Aurora District, Aurora, Isabela.

2. Consistent with the DepEd goal of producing functionally literate and holistically developed Filipinos, all
contested events for the selection of Division entries will be conducted simultaneously by the six legislative
districts of SDO Isabela on May 12, 2023, of which LD 5 shall be held in the following venues.
2.1. Luna National High School, Luna, Isabela for the Sining ng Tanghalan, PopDev, and Read-A -
Thon
2.2. Aurora Senior High School, Aurora, Isabela for the Technolympics and STEMazing
2.3. Roxas National High School for the Bayle sa Kalye

3. To ensure the smooth implementation of the said activity, the following set of standard processes and
guidelines are hereby reiterated for your reference and compliance.

4. Strict compliance and adherence to the General Guidelines and Event Rules and Mechanics stipulated in
the Department Memorandum No. 023, s. 2023 and Division Memorandum No. 77, s. 2023 in the conduct
of the 2023 Division and Regional Festival of Talents Contests shall be adopted during the LD level
competition.
5. All allowable expenses incurred during the conduct of the 2023 LD level FOT Contests shall be charged to
school MOOE, and/or local funds or other sources of funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing
rules and regulations, thus, self-provision on foods and snacks per delegate is requested.
6. Top ten winners shall be awarded with certificate but only the LD First Place winners per category shall
represent Legislative District V in the Division Festival of Talents on May 16, 2023.
7. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
