I. INTRODUCTION

MAPEH (consist of Music, Arts, PE and Health) are performance-based disciplines,


effective learning occurs through active experience, participation, and performance, creative
expression, aesthetic valuation, critical response, and interpretation.

The skills that are developed showcases within their talents through culminating activities and
DepEd school programs.

II. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT

A. STUDENT’S DEVELOPMENT
1. Engages in School Flag Ceremony and Flag Retreat (Every Monday & Friday)
2. Engages in Club Election (June 7, 2019)
3.Engages on checking on Nutritional Status - BMI (June 2019, January 2020)
4. Participates on SMNHS Intramurals (June 24-26, 2019)
5. Participates on Pagbilao District 2 Selection Meet (July 4, 2019)
6. Participates on Municipal Selection Meet (July 12, 2019)
7. Participates on Governors Cup on Football (July 13-14, 2019) at Sta.Cruz,

1. Weather conditions for the activities and practices


2. Teachers who did not give considerations, did not follow memos (legal basis
of PE sports article 14, sec 19 of Philippine Constitution)

IV. SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Parental guidance and supervision is indeed an effective antidote to learning.

(CITIZENSHIP ADVANCEMENT TRAINING)
GRADE 10
SY 2019-2020

I. INTRODUCTION

Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) is a restructuring of the “Citizen Army Training”


based on DepEd Order no. 35, s.2003. Citizenship Advancement Training as provided by the
Rule II-General Provisions, section 2 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) to
implement the National Service Program. It is a restructuring of the Citizen Army Training
required to all Grade 10 students in the Philippines in both public and private schools as
provided for the Department of Education (DepEd) order 35, s. 2003 and reinforced by the
DepEd Order no. 52, s. 2004.

The Three components of CAT are Military Orientation, Community Service and Public
Safety and Law Enforcement Service.

Military Orientation Deals with the introduction and exposure of the learner to the basic
knowledge on familiar situations and experiences as well as activities related to military.

Community Service refers to any Activity that helps achieve the general welfare and the
betterment of life of the members of the community

Public Safety and Law Enforcement Service which encompasses all programs and
activities which are contributory to the maintenance of peace and order, enhancement of
public safety and encouragement in the observance of and compliance to laws.

II. OBJECTIVES

1. To enhance the student’s social responsibility and commitment to the development


of their communities
2. Develop the ability to uphold the law and order as they assume active participation
in the community activities.
3. Readiness in assisting the members of the community in times of emergency

III. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT

A. STUDENT’S DEVELOPMENT
1. Attended the Joint Disaster Management Activity on School Level, Gift Giving
and CAT General Assembly.
2. Engage in symposium on Disaster Preparedness
3. Engage in symposium on Drug Awareness Campaign
4. Tree Planting Program
5. Facilitate the school Flag Ceremony
6. Engage on Manual Arm Training with Sgt. Jonas Pitero and sir Alex Panopio
at SMNHS

B. TEACHER’S DEVELOPMENT

1. Engage on different activities of the school and manage students discipline at


all times

C. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
1. Implement the Citizenship Advancement Training not the Citizen Army
Training
2. Used the three components of CAT in teaching the subject
3. Utilized Dep. Ed. Rules, Regulations and Mandates in assessing learners

D. PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

1. Encouraged every students to plant trees and show discipline at all times
2. Initiated values on cleanliness

IV. PROBLEMS

1. Weather conditions
2. Grade in CAT is not included in the computation of grades although it is
requirement and considered a subject
3. There are still some schools that did not follow the three components of CAT
and they have their own CAT program.

V. SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Strict compliance and uniform implementation of all schools in the Division


of Quezon both public and private schools.
2. Parental guidance and supervision is indeed an effective antidote to learning.
3. Have a regular Leadership Training.
