    ORPHANAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

    ABSTRACT:
    According to UNICEF, the latest estimate states that there are about 2.7
    million children in orphanages. Orphanage is a residence for people who are without parental
    support or any moral support from anyone. Such orphanages require help to the people who
    are in a good financial state to donate them. Generally, in orphanage records are maintained
    for future reference, retrieval and easy management. The objective of paper is to help from
    the donors who wish to donate them by using our WEB APPLICATION The proposed
    system help staff in reducing a manual paper. The proposed system helps the staff in reducing
    manual paper work and enhances tidiness in record keeping since the existing one usual
    manual keeping, i.e., the use of files and paper. The system allows the orphanage owner to
    add and modify the orphan records. The system provide suggestions for an assignment of
    these orphans to the caretakers/donors by using SVM (Support Vector Machine) algorithm.
    Donor can select the orphan and request for adoption from the orphanage owner. The
    Orphanage owner can accept or reject help from the donor. The Proposed System is aimed to
    facilitate donors with the details of an orphan and providing fund to orphan.
    PROBLEM STATEMENT:
    The people with helping mind in today’s era are less, there are also people who
    are concerned about the well-being of elderly people and orphans, who are left out by their
    families or abandoned. So, this paper is about the web application which involves the process
    of finding a home or an orphanage for the needy. The process of web application starts with
    the person (who is ready to help) can login to the page and register by entering the details of
    orphans and the old people. Then the application searches for the nearest home or orphanage
    with available vacancy and facilities. Then the concerned person or other NGO’s can take the
    corresponding person to the available home. The Administrator of the website will be able to
    see the details of the needy. And, the responsibility of maintaining a database of the
    information of registered people will be the admin’s job. Also, constantly updating the
    database is important.
    EXIXTING SYSTEM:
    The exixting system is fully a manual. The companies are fill details in a
    forms and write details in hand written.
