How does imagery affect a literary work?


-It engages the senses to deepen the reader's comprehension of what is happening and how
to feel about it. Imagery, in any sort of writing, encompasses the use of literal or figurative
language to add symbolism and enable the reader to imagine the world of the piece of
literature

What is the impact of imagery on the readers?


-Imagery can make something abstract, like an emotion or theory, seem more concrete and
tangible to the reader. By using imagery, writers can evoke the feeling they want to talk about in
their readers, it can also can improve a reader's experience of the text by immersing them more
deeply by appealing to their senses. Imagery in writing can aim at a reader's sense of taste, smell,
touch, hearing, or sight through vivid descriptions.

How will you utilize imagery in your daily life?


-By becoming more aware of imagery and optimizing my ability to image. Imagery can also help
me to Jogging your memory, Producing descriptions, like helping to give some directions
properly and lastly Emotional/motivational, it helps me to imagine stuff vividly, whether it be
sad or happy.

—makes a passage or scene come alive. Using a combination of imagery and
sensory imagery arms the reader with as much information as possible and helps
them create a more vivid mental picture of what is happening.
