It’s Halong bay - a complex of beach and bay in Southern Vietnam that has

Yes, I think it is true because traveling broadens our minds, enhances our
knowledge, and gives us unique first-hand experiences if it is done in the
right way.

Topic 2: Free Time

1. What sort of music do you listen to? (Why do you enjoy it?)
Well, I think my favorite music is blues. I love blues music because it’s full
of so much passion and soul and it helps me to feel and express my inner
sadness.
2. What is the best book you have ever read?
Books have been one of my best friends which have supported me in every

Alchemist by Paulo Coelho ”

Topic 3: Television
1. Is television important?
I think television is very important because it brings its viewers a steady
stream of programs that are designed to entertain. TV provides many more
entertainment programs than any other kind. The programs include action-
packed dramas, light comedies, sporting events, and motion pictures.
2. What do you usually watch on television?
I was never a big fan of TV. Even in my childhood, I used to watch just one or

in our palms, the TV viewing time has gone down to 1-2 hrs per week.

Part 2: Cue Card (4 points – 4 minutes)

Describe someone in your family who you really admire.

You should say:
What relation this person is to you.
What your first memories of this person are.
How often you see this person.
And explain why you admire this person.

Today, I would like to talk about my mom who is definitely the most influential
person that I have ever met. Well, it has been 18 years since the first time I saw her when
I opened my eyes to this world
My mother is fifties but she still maintains a youthful look. She has medium-length
hair and an oval face. In terms of personality, she is an extremely compassionate and
kind- hearted person, so she really gets on well with everyone.
She is always responsible for everything she does such as doing household chores
and taking care of her children. For example, she usually prepares delicious meals for
me and stands behind me whenever I have difficulties.
she often encouraged me when I felt upset or got troubles in life. I still remember
she once told me that as long as I tried, it did not matter what result I got.
In conclusion, I love her from the bottom of my heart and feel do pround to be her
daughter

Part 3: Discussion (3 points – 3 minutes)

1. What are the values of family in your country?

The most important values of a family are moral values, which enable people to
draw plausible distinctions between right and wrong, good and bad, and true
and false. The lessons learned from the family are invaluable throughout our life
simply because family is the most important group that makes life worth living.

2. How family bonding is necessary for happiness in life?

Spending quality time bonding as a family helps promote happiness within the
entire household as well as within individuals. Children who grow up in a
household where they feel heard and respected will grow up to treat others in
the same way and promote happiness everywhere they go in life. Being happy is
important to maintaining healthy habits in life, love, and business.

3. What type of family do you like (nuclear family or extended family) ? Why ?
I like to live in a nuclear family because living in a nuclear family is more
comfortable than an extended family so we will have more less problems. In
addition we can share the chores in my house and we can do it together.
Moreover, my parents are more open minded. They always just give us advice,
but they never try to impose their decision on us. Which I like most in a nuclear
family.
