Materials: pictures of animals and pictures of plants, PPT Presentation, real object
III. Procedure
A. Review
Show some pictures of animals and let the pupils name them.
Ask: What are the animals that live in land, water, both land and water?
B. Motivation
Garden Tour: Tour the pupils in the school garden. Ask the following questions.

1. Presentation
Activity: Show a real plant. (Eggplant)
2. Discussion:
Roots- absorb water and minerals from the soil and holds the plants so it does not fall over.
Stem- is strong and helps to hold the plant. It allows water and nutrients flow up to the leaves.
Leaves- it collect sunlight and make food for plants. Every plant has a different kind of leaf.
Flower- are the parts of plants that make seeds and fruits.
Fruits- Fruits protect seeds. They help plants spread seeds out because animals transport when they eat
fruits.
3. Generalization
Ask the pupils the different parts of a plant and their function.

Group activity.
