    RESEARCH PROPOSAL FORMAT

    General Guidelines
    1.1 Paper Size and Quality
    A4 should be used in your submission. The minimum paper weight is 80 grams.
    1.2 Page Setup / Margins
    The top and left margins should be 1.5 inches while the bottom and right margins
    should be 1 inch.
    1.3. Page Numbering
    Numbers should be in the Hindu-Arabic format and should be placed in the upper
    right corner for the inside pages while that of the preliminary pages should be in the lower
    case Roman numeral format placed in the bottom middle of the page. In the first page of
    every chapter, the page number should be hidden.
    1.4 Font and Paragraph Setting
    The Arial font size 12 should be used throughout the paper even for titles. Section
    titles should all be in upper case, bold, centered. Sub-sections should be in title case,
    bold, left aligned. Sub- sub-headings should be in sentence case, bold, with a period at
    the end and should start the paragraph. Table and figure titles should be in sentence case,
    left aligned.
