Membership Information1
The benefits and services outlined in this Guide are only available to Allstate Motor

or “us” for “AMC” from time to time. Whenever we use the term “member,” this
refers to any member(s) listed on your Membership Benefits Summary. In order to
be a member, you must have a current, valid driver’s license. If you’d like to add or
change the members on your plan, see the Requests & Reimbursements page for
customer service contact information.

As a member, you’re covered in any car that you are driving or riding in as long as
the type of vehicle is eligible, according to the description below. Your membership
does not cover non-members who drive a member’s car.

There are some membership benefits within this Guide that are available only if you
selected a plan with those benefits and services. If you do not have those benefits
and services listed and would like to upgrade, see the Requests & Reimbursements
page for instructions.

1

The benefits and services described in this Guide are available to members up to their stated limit without any
additional payments in excess of membership dues, unless otherwise specified. For members residing in Montana only:
Pursuant to MCA61-12-301(12) and MCA61-12-301, this membership Guide constitutes a “service contract” and upon purchase
of membership, the member agrees and acknowledges the following: (1) this “service contract” is deemed to have been
signed by the member and motor club; and (2) the member and motor club have each received a copy of this fully
executed “service contract.”

2
Eligible Vehicles2
Your membership provides you with Emergency Roadside Assistance when

additional Eligible Vehicles – those will be listed and defined on your Membership

company cars assigned to you for full-time personal use), or are listed on your

3
Emergency Roadside Assistance3
If you are in need of any of the following emergency roadside services, visit
manageroadside.allstate.com to immediately request and track help or see the
Requests & Reimbursements page to request service. The number of Service
Events that are covered under your plan is indicated on your Membership
Benefits Summary. The following are Covered Services:

Towing
We will dispatch a service provider to tow an Eligible Vehicle if it cannot be
started or driven without causing damage. The service provider will tow an
Eligible Vehicle up to your Towing benefit limit specified on your Membership
Benefits Summary. Any expenses incurred beyond the Towing benefit limit will
be your responsibility at the time of service, and are not reimbursable. If your
vehicle requires two tows to reach its final place of repair, the second tow will be
considered a continuation of the original up to the Towing benefit limit as listed
on the Membership Benefits Summary.

Winching
If an Eligible Vehicle requires winching, coverage is limited to a maximum of 30 feet
from a paved or public roadway if it can be safely serviced, one operator and one tow
truck for up to 30 minutes - any additional expenses will be your responsibility pay-
able directly to the service provider at the time of service, and are not reimbursable.

Fuel Delivery
If an Eligible Vehicle runs out of gas, a service provider will deliver an emergency
supply of fuel as listed on your Membership Benefits Summary. While dispatch
cost is covered, you are responsible for paying the cost of fuel.

Lockout4
If you are locked out of an Eligible Vehicle, we’ll send a service provider to grant
entry as quickly as possible. You are covered up to your Lockout benefit limit
specified on your Membership Benefits Summary.

3
Expenses which are not covered include but are not limited to: Recovery expenses due to accident, fire, or flood; parts,
products or storage; service(s) performed in a dealership, garage, or service station; service(s) performed in areas not
regularly traveled (such as sand beaches, open fields, forests and areas not passable due to construction); service(s)
needed due to an act of nature, etc.; charging a battery or delivery and repair of tires; tow bar rentals; towing due to a
parking violation or towing out of a place of repair or impound areas (except for accident or theft recovery); service(s)
other than that provided by a commercial garage or service station (payment will not be made to private parties or
unlicensed facilities); service(s) to a disabled vehicle driven by anyone (such as a friend or distant relative) who is
not a Motor Club member, removing/installing snow tires, repairs to studs, mounting and dismounting snow chains;
clearing or entering snowbound driveways; shoveling vehicles out of snow banks or shoveling snow from around a
vehicle; local tolls or parkway charges; service to a vehicle with an expired or missing safety inspection sticker, license
plate sticker, and/or emission sticker(s) where required by law; and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as
covered.
4
L ockout expenses which are not covered include but are not limited to lock repair, replacement keys, and mechanical
failure of locks or ignition system.

4
Jumpstart
The service provider will provide a battery jumpstart to an Eligible Vehicle.
You are covered up to your Jumpstart benefit limit specified on your Membership
Benefits Summary. If the vehicle will not start, it may require towing service.
This tow would count as a separate Service Event. Please note that most
motorcycles cannot be jumpstarted.

Flat Tire Change

If an Eligible Vehicle is disabled due to a flat tire, the service provider will replace the
flat tire with your inflated spare tire. If the spare is unusable, the lug nuts
cannot be removed, or an Eligible Vehicle has multiple flat tires, towing services
will be provided up to the towing benefit limit listed on your Membership Benefits
Summary. This tow would count as a separate Service Event. The repair or
replacement of that flat tire may be eligible for reimbursement – see the Tire
and Wheel Repair & Replacement section for details.

When You Will Need an Authorization Number

If for any reason we are unable to dispatch a service provider to assist you, we will
provide you with an authorization number. You can then contact a local provider5 of
your choice and pay them directly for services rendered. We will reimburse you at
market rate6 up to your benefit limit listed on the Membership Benefits Summary.
See the Requests & Reimbursements page for instructions.

5
The local provider must be a commercial garage or service station (payment will not be made to private parties or
unlicensed facilities).

6
Market rate is the usual price charged for goods and services in your local market. If the service provider you choose
charges over market rate, you will be responsible for the extra cost, payment made directly to the service provider.

5
Additional Membership Benefits
The benefits outlined below apply only to members with certain memberships.
Review your Membership Benefits Summary to confirm which benefits and
benefit limits apply to you.

Tire and Wheel Repair & Replacement7

If a tire and/or wheel on an Eligible Vehicle fails due to a puncture, bruise, or
break incurred during normal driving on a road maintained by the state or local
authority, the repair or replacement is eligible for reimbursement. See the Requests
& Reimbursements page for instructions on how to request an authorization
number. Once you have the authorization number, you can render service from your
repair shop. We’ll reimburse you up to your Tire and Wheel Repair & Replacement
benefit limit, listed on the Membership Benefits Summary.

If your repair shop determines that the tire cannot be safely repaired and should be
replaced, the tire may be replaced with an exact make and model, if available. If not
available, a comparable quality tire may be installed. The cost to repair or replace
the tire(s) will be covered up to your Tire and Wheel Repair & Replacement benefit
limit listed on your Membership Benefits Summary.

If a wheel is damaged due to a covered road hazard and no longer maintains an

airtight seal with the tire or cannot be properly balanced after the tire has been
repaired or replaced, the cost to repair or replace the wheel(s) will be covered
up to your Tire and Wheel Repair & Replacement benefit limit listed on your
Membership Benefits Summary.

7
rior authorization is required for any tire or wheel repair or replacement. Tires must be in good condition with more
P
than 2/32” of tread remaining to be eligible for reimbursement. Be sure to keep your tire/wheel as it may be requested
for inspection.
Please note that tire and wheel reimbursement only covers the tire and/or wheel cost and does not cover any
mounting, balancing, taxes, or miscellaneous fees. In addition, cosmetic damage to the tire and/or wheel is not
covered under this plan.
Tire and Wheel Damage benefit is not available in the state of Massachusetts. For all other states, the following
vehicles are not eligible for coverage: Vehicles that are rented or borrowed, vehicles with a manufacturer’s load rating
capacity greater than one ton. Unless you are an Elite RV Member, any vehicle with a load capacity of one ton or
greater designed for, built for, or used in a private recreational or commercial application including but not limited to
Class A (or Type A) Motorhomes and Class C (or Type C) Motorhomes; any motorcycles, trailers, emergency service
vehicles; any vehicle used for hire, towing, construction or postal service; any vehicle used for farm, ranch, agriculture,
or off-road use. Coverage excludes any damage that occurs from off-road use (off-road use is described as driving on
anything that is not a paved or gravel road maintained by the state or local authority). Coverage excludes damage from
collision, fire, vandalism, theft, snow chains, manufacturer’s defects, abuse and neglect (such as improper application,
improper inflation, brake lock up, wheel spinning, torque snags, etc.). Also excluded are damages caused by
mechanical failures (e.g., failed shocks, struts, alignment, balancing, etc.) or interference with vehicle components
(such as fenders, exhaust, springs, etc.) and any damage to a tire or wheel that is considered cosmetic. Coverage
excludes any tires that have been repaired in a manner other than per manufacturer’s Guidelines. Also excluded
are any tires that have been retreaded, recapped, regrooved, remolded, or tubed. COVERAGE EXCLUDES THE
MICHELIN PAX® SYSTEM, PAX® TIRES, AND TIRES AND WHEELS OF SIMILAR CONSTRUCTION AND
PURPOSE. COVERAGE ALSO EXCLUDES ANY TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEMS (TPMS) AND/OR
DEVICES AND COMPONENTS ASSOCIATED WITH TPMS. CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
ARE EXCLUDED. No expressed guarantee is given other than that stated herein. The Program Administrator reserves
the right to deny any claim submitted with false or misleading information.

6
Trip Interruption8
We want to keep you moving forward – even if the unexpected occurs. If you are
more than 100 miles from your place of residence in an Eligible Vehicle and it
becomes inoperable or unsafe to drive due to collision or mechanical breakdown,
and is towed to a repair facility, you will be reimbursed up to the Trip Interruption
benefit limit stated on your Membership Benefits Summary for expenses incurred
within three days of the incident or until the repair is complete – whichever is
shorter – for any combination of the following:

• Ctrain
ar rental or commercial transportation (including airline, bus, or
fare) from the disablement location to your home or destination
and back to the pickup location of the repaired vehicle
• Meals and overnight lodging expenses

• Ambulance charges, if applicable

Members may submit one reimbursement request (which may include all eligible
expenses) per disablement. See the Requests & Reimbursement page for instructions.

Legal Defense9
We can provide payment for your attorney fees, up to the benefit limit stated on
your Membership Benefits Summary, if you are charged with certain moving
violations (listed on your Membership Benefits Summary) of the motor vehicle laws
while driving an Eligible Vehicle. While we cannot provide an attorney, you may
choose any attorney (other than yourself or a family member) for representation.
See the Requests & Reimbursements page for instructions.

Other Services, Discounts and Offers

Above and beyond the benefits outlined in this Guide, we offer additional services,
discounts and offers to our members. See your Membership Benefits Summary
for these services and benefit limits, as applicable, and see the Requests &
Reimbursements section for instructions as to how to utilize those services.

8
Where benefit is allowed, expenses which are not covered include, but are not limited to: fire or theft, meals or lodging
purchased outside the vicinity of where your vehicle was repaired or provided by anyone other than a commercial
business, expenses incurred by anyone other than the members listed on the Membership Benefits Summary,
telephone calls, photocopies, personal items, sundries, any type of miscellaneous items, etc., medical expenses, and
expenses paid by your insurance company. Ambulance charges are not available in the state of MA.

9
The Legal Defense benefit is not available in the state of Alabama. In all other states, expenses which are not covered
include, but are not limited to, the following: any offense prior to your Enrollment Date (you must be a member at the
time of the violation); any trial defense or appeal expenses for more than one traffic violation arising out of the same
incident (if you are charged with multiple violations, reimbursement will be made for the violation which allows for
the single highest benefit limit); any trial defense or appeal expenses for charges involving felony violations or driving
under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, whether or not you are convicted of the charge or convicted of
a lesser offense, if you are charged with other than a moving violation, traffic fines, court costs, or the costs of bail
bondsmen. To request Legal Defense Reimbursement, include your arrest citation and the itemized bill from your
attorney (must be on your attorney’s letterhead). New York residents must have their attorney send us these
documents directly.

Benefits Summary under the heading BENEFIT LIMITS & SERVICE DETAILS for
Emergency Road Assistance (excluding Trip Interruption).

Service Event Policy

To maintain a high standard of service with fair and reasonable dues for all
members, roadside assistance Service Events are limited to the number indicated
on your Membership Benefits Summary and we will let you know when your limit
is reached. If you exceed your maximum allocation of Service Events but additional
roadside assistance is needed, we will dispatch service on a pay-per-use basis. The
number of Service Events for your membership will be reset to zero at renewal. Our
services and benefits are available in the U.S., and Canada in instances that occur
while your membership is active.

Membership Period Information

Your membership begins on your Enrollment Date and is active for the
Membership Period, both indicated on your Membership Benefits Summary.
Eligibility to receive benefits is subject to the payment of dues, by credit/
debit card, payroll deduction, check, or other payment method.

• Uif nless otherwise indicated on your Membership Benefits Summary,

service is requested within 72 hours of the Enrollment Date, you
will be responsible for paying for the full cost of any dispatch services
rendered. Those costs are not eligible for reimbursement.

• Uis nless otherwise indicated on your Membership Benefits Summary, if service

requested before we receive payment, you will be responsible for the costs
of the benefits or services dispatched. However, once we receive your dues,
those costs will be eligible for reimbursement up to your benefit limit indicated
on the Membership Benefits Summary.

8
Renewal Information
If you authorize continuous renewal, future dues will be charged at the renewal
date’s then-applicable rate to the payment method you selected at your Enrollment
Date, unless the Primary Member updates or changes the payment method. If you
originally paid your dues by check or money order, you will receive a renewal invoice
when your payment becomes due.

Cancellation
We will not cancel or non-renew your membership without giving prior written
notice unless otherwise disclosed on your Membership Benefits Summary and may
elect to cancel or non-renew your membership for any reason. We may terminate a
membership for fraud or excessive use10 with a minimum of 30 days written notice.
Failure to repay us for any money or services advanced on your behalf is cause for
cancellation. As a Primary Member, you may cancel at any time and receive a
prorated refund of any unused membership dues calculated from your cancellation
date, less the value of services rendered since the date of your enrollment or last
membership renewal, whichever is more recent.11 This cancellation automatically
cancels the membership of all other members named on your Membership Benefits
Summary as well.

Service Providers
Our services (including but not limited to Emergency Roadside Assistance, Tire
and Wheel Repair & Replacement, Key Fob/Remote Replacement, Paintless Dent
Repair and Windshield Repair) are provided by service providers (independent
contractors) who are neither agents nor employees of AMC. Because these service
providers have exclusive control over their own equipment and personnel, we are
not responsible for their acts or omissions or for the performance of any service
they provide. For those same reasons, we assume no liability for property damage
or bodily injury, if any, caused by a service provider. Any claim involving such
damage or injury should be filed directly with the responsible service provider.

Vehicle Maintenance
The benefits and services outlined in this Guide are not intended as alternatives
to proper vehicle maintenance. Please maintain your vehicle in good mechanical
