    Background

    • Indonesian people’s interest in things connected to


    Korea has increased rapidly in the last few years. The
    phenomenin is known as Hallyu or Korean Wave. With
    the supplies of many entertainment products, such as
    those TV series and Korean dramas in Indonesian’s TV
    stations, we’d like to accomodate the need to
    understand Korea not only limited to the
    entertainment product, but also to better understand
    about the culture and also the language.

    • Form a community which can hold the aspiration of


    Indonesian people toward Korean culture.

    • Bandung Korea Community was established on


    September 10th, 2006 as a means to accomodate
    these needs. We joined under Bandung Korean
    Association on 2016.
    Vision
    To maintain the relation between Indonesian and
    Korean culture, especially Bandung society toward
    Korean art and cultural trends.

    Mission
    To introduce, socialize, and accomodate the art and
    culture trend of Korea to the people in Indonesia,
    especially Bandung.
