• Begin with the Heading


• On the next line(RHS) write the name of the writer
• Begin by giving details of – who organised what , when, where etc
• State the aim /purpose ( if any)– to create awareness , raise funds etc
• This is followed by a description of the event in sequential order till conclusion
• To be written in the past tense , 3 paragraphs

GRADUATION DAY AT DPS NORTH
• DPS Bangalore North bid farewell to their 11th batch of class 12 graduating students on the 19th of January in a ceremony held in
the school campus. The solemn event was graced by the Members, Board of Management and other dignitaries. Also present on
the occasion were parents of the graduating batch.

• The programme began with the reading of the holy scriptures The Principal, Mrs. Manju Balasubramanyam, elucidated on the
achievements of the batch and congratulated them for being actively committed to social work during the academic year. The
Chief Guest, Divyanshu Ganantra, Visually Impaired Psychologist, Paraglider and Advocate for Disability Rights emphasized the
need for students to be empathetic in this world that is governed by artificial intelligence. He also spoke about fighting failure and
achieving success.

• The students illuminated the school in a candle lighting ceremony, following which the student leaders reminisced the times they
spent in school and expressed their gratitude for the valuable life lessons that the school taught them. Mementos were then
presented to the school by the graduating batch as a token of appreciation . The night was brought to a close with an enticing
cultural performance. The synchronized dance performance received a huge applause while the song by the school choir evoked
nostalgic memories of school life. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the senior coordinator and the rendition
of the national anthem.
ASSIGNMENTS

• Your school, Sea View Public School, Kochi, organized a Blood-donation Camp on the occasion of
the Republic Day celebrations. As Cultural Secretary of your school, write a report on the event in
